Pretty dishwasher, a couple of flaws
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to run well, not difficult to install, directions could use a little clarification. At times seemed they might be directions for a different model. We were able to install successfully and ran the machine empty the first time. Unfortunately, while the dishwasher is running, there is excessive condensation that collects on the left side of the handle in front of the vent. Major design flaw if you ask me. Not only ugly to have water on the handle but it drips on our wood floor. Second flaw, the clips on the silverware caddy impede the lower rack and make it impossible to push it into the machine without aggressively rubbing on the rubber gasket that seals the door when closed. I can only imagine this will cause damage if left unchecked. Literally have to pick up the lower rack and shift it to the left, off of it’s track, in order to roll it into the machine. Unacceptable for a brand new dishwasher. Have left messages for GE regarding both issues and have yet to hear back. Will update review once response is received from GE. Not the most expensive dishwasher out there but certainly not the cheapest and I expected more from GE. Good points: runs quietly and does a nice job of cleaning dishes.

Super deal on a Great Dishwasher!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as an open box item. Had a dent but its next to my stove and not really noticeable. Saved almost half on the original price on it. It works perfectly and no issues with the vent others have complained about yet. Im watching the door as it does have the small plastic parts one person said are prone to breaking. It really cleans well. Only issue was it didn't seem to dry so I set it on boost and now it works perfect.

Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible, we have only had it two years. We have replaced the plastic strip that goes over the button once and its already cracking again. The front of the door has many rust spots that are tiny right now but I expect them to only get bigger.

Year of use and still works great
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This version has plastic interior (while there is a slightly more expensive version that has metal interior). To save a few $$ I got this version. Its well built, quiet, easy to use, and cleans very well. I like that the buttons are on the inside. My only issue was the 3rd party installers. They did not bult the top to the counter, therefor when I opened the door, the entire dishwasher nearly fell on itself. Luckily I was able to locate the original brackets in the manual bag and did it myself with ease; but it should have been completed in the first place by the installers. As for the item itself, I highly recommend it.

Q: QuestionWhat does tall tub indicate?
Asked by Jimbo.
- A:Answer Hello- Thanks so much for your question. We are happy to help! Tall tub dishwashers are 15% larger than our standard tub in our ADA and short door dishwashers. These tub interiors are both taller and wider than the standard tub. In addition, the tubs are shallower so they can be installed flush in standard cabinets. They are designed to optimize tub dimensions and provide "more space in the same place" as traditional tubs. We hope this helps! Joyce@GEA
