Q: What is the meaning of the size (27 inch) for the kit. Does that cover a 27 inch opening? How do you determine the height? I have a PES7227sl1ss microwave. The cavity opening is 28 1/2 by 16 3/4. Do I need a 30" kit?

A: Kit design is poor. It is too big for a normal 27" hole. You have to make modifications!!!!!! Exact dimentions should be given in GE's site.

Q: Will this work with this microwave: PEM31SF4SS and if not which trim kit do I need?

Q: What are the inside and outside frame dimensions. they are not provided? I need a stainless Trim Kit for a PEB1590DM2BB. I know that Black and white are available, however I want to find a Stainless that will fit the dimensions. Thank you.

A: These ONLY FIT the spcific models as stated by GE. It has to do with the swing pattern of the door and the exhaust circulation for the units. I would not try to improvise as the mountings are also specific. Good luck
