Great Frenchdoor Refrigerator Freezer
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.We’ve have the fridge for almost a month now and it’s everything I wanted. We noticed the nozzle for the interior water was very short. So I took an older straw from an amusement park, cut it and husband slid it on top of the nozzle. Now you can actually put any glass or pitcher under the nozzle and get cold water without a mess.

Great upgrade

I went to go see it in person however the Best Buy employee who was there took time in exploring if there was anything else I could need help with. I ended up buying it there. Also signed up for total tech. Wonderful service. I love this fridge bc the water dispenser is internal-my old fridge was ruined with either leaking/ice falling on external dispenser. Layout it wonderful-can’t complsin. Some ppl mentioned a noice-doesn’t bother me. Maybe my old fridge was noisy so I don’t notice this one.

Q: QuestionWhen you use the filtered water, it comes out at the refrigerated temperature initially. What is the capacity of the chilled filtered water tank/storage? i.e. How much chilled water before it starts being tap-temperature cold water coming through?

- A:Answer Hi there, We're more than happy to provide an answer to your question! Bottom freezer and french door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that cools 16 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. The first time the dispenser is used, the chilled water lever may need to be pressed for two to three minutes to fill the reservoir for the first time. It takes approximately seven seconds to fill an eight ounce glass with water. After the 16 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. Models with a Hot Water Dispenser have a separate stainless tank that holds 22 ounces of hot water, which dispenses hot water in 10 oz increments. The temperature must be set again to dispense additional hot water. Water is fed into the hot water tank independently from the cold water. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Q: QuestionWe have had this refrigerator for a day and when we go to fill up a glass of water it will start and stop several times. Is this normal?

- A:Answer Hello. Congrats on your new refrigerator! When the refrigerator is first installed, there may be air in the water line system. Press the dispenser paddle for at least five minutes to remove trapped air from the water line and to fill the water system. To flush out impurities in the water line, throw away the first six full glasses of water. - A:Answer Hello. Thanks for reaching out! You must use the filter bypass plug when a replacement filter cartridge is not available. The dispenser and the icemaker will not operate without the filter or filter bypass plug. Some models do not come equipped with the filter bypass plug. To obtain a free bypass plug call 800-GECARES. - A:Answer Compared to my older refrigerator, they aren’t that deep. I find them a little small. I ended up buying a bin to sit in on of the shelves to store fruit like apples, etc.
