I didn't have much choice in models as this one fit on my old pedestal and I didn't want to have to buy a new pedestal. This machine has many cycle choices, easy to operate and door closes easy, my old machine you had to really slam the door. I am only rating this machine good for two reasons, I have a first floor utility room and it really is quite noisy, doesn't bother me but might be a factor for someone else. Second, the default for color cycle wash is warm, I prefer cold and would think colors should be cold, unless I am doing something wrong. My first load of whites seemed cleaner than they had been, maybe my old machine wasn't doing as good of job as I thought before it stopped working.

less than a month and we need it serviced...the washer stops mid-cycle and won't complete. Our clothes are now trapped inside the machine with water because it won't drain, spin, or UNLOCK!

I purchased this washer and when it works it's amazing! After my 2nd tech call someone is finally coming out next week to look at it. Often the door remains locked after a cycle, the cycle says complete but the clothes are completely soaked and undryable, or it will tumble for hours and never have an end
