I've never had a convection oven before but when i purchased my new home the previous owner had one so when I went to look for a new one, I made sure to get one as well. I've heard they bake much better than a regular oven. I'm not a huge baker but when I do, I previously had trouble with certain parts of the dish baking more than others and I bought a convection oven hoping for the promise of a more even bake and thats exactly what I got! Things from Cookies to bread to lasagna come out more evenly baked and rarely do I have to worry about burnt edges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.

Great Electric Convection Range!
Great Electric Convection Range!
This Electric Convection Range far exceeded our expectations. We recently purchased a new home and our previous one died on us unexpectedly. Since we are in the middle of some costly upgrades / renovations, This put a damper on our emergency oven budget, so we did some research and read countless reviews online for Ranges under $800. We found this one for a great deal here at Best Buy and set up delivery, installation and removal of our old range. After all was said and done we were surprised about the quality, look, and performance of this range. It is efficient, responds / heats up quickly, has many options, and the convection works nicely. Not to mention... atheistically pleasing and stylish. I am very happy that our situation led us to this range.
A:Answer Hi Burt - This range offers Traditional Bake and Convection Bake cooking modes. Convection Bake mode is intended for baking on multiple racks at the same time. This mode uses heat from the upper and lower elements, along with air movement from the convection fan to enhance cooking evenness on multiple racks. Traditional Bake uses heat from the upper and lower elements for single rack cooking. You might want to pair GE® 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven JVM3160DFCC (Bisque). Two-speed, 300-CFM venting system removes smoke, steam and odors. We also offer GE® Non-Vented Standard Range Hood JN327HCC. Filter system cleans and returns air to the kitchen. Thanks for choosing GE! Enjoy - Sue
A:Answer Hi HateRemodeling - We have great news! The range offers Traditional Bake and Convection Bake cooking modes so you can choose how you want to bake. It also offers Broil Hi/Lo. Thanks for choosing GE! Sue
A:Answer Hi Deedee - In the Convection mode, the fan will cycle on and off and spins in one direction during fan operation mode. This is normal. Also, it will not operate while the door is open. Thanks for reaching out to us and for choosing GE. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue
