Q: I’ve had this dryer 2 weeks since I’ve bought it it gets super hot 2 minutes in a cycle then shuts off.

A: Hi Chris- Proper airflow is very important to the operation of the dryer. It the dryer is too hot, we suggest to inspect the vent for restrictions. The vent should be rigid metal or flexible metal only. DO NOT use plastic flexible ducting. Check the outside wall cap for any obstructions. Check the installation instructions to be sure that the proper number of elbows are used relative to the correct length of venting. Test the dryer's performance (Electric models only): Disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer and run a load or two. If the symptoms continue there may be a service issue with the dryer. If the symptoms go away, it is likely there is a venting problem.
