I purchased the "home" base first. It was fine. It has a bigger base since it has the "locator" button is wider and a bit heavier. This add on handset has no weight to the base hence it falls every time I pick it up or place it back. There are no holes to mount it either. The actual quality of the handset is good. I get great reception and always hear clearly. I just wish I had looked at the actual product before I bought it. (I bought it online.) I am at the point where I might replace the whole system.
