- A: AnswerHi Vinny, that answer is correct because I had the older the Advantium, it was probably 17 years old never had a problem with it. The problem was there was no parts available to fix the existing microwave. I had to first have an electrician take the 220 line down to a 110 line because it was more expensive to buy the 220, I originally ordered a trim kit for the microwave but that did not work because it’s really not for the ADvantium no difference in the size if I remember correctly. I eventually found the trim kit myself because the salesman did not know about it. This was an ongoing problem for a few months trying to get the right microwave for the cabinet. The kit is actually an accessory drawer to fill in the space in the height of the microwave otherwise it does fit the width. It was challenging but finally it works. If you want I can send you a picture of what it looks like the biggest problem was it did not come in black because my GE oven is black so it’s stainless steel and that’s the only choice. I hope this answers helpful it will be easier for you if you don’t have the cabinet and get a different microwave but I like my Advantium and I am happy Do you have finally filled the hole in the wall correctly. For me it was a five month ordeal by the time we finally got everything situated. In reviewing the data on your existing model and the new model, we have determined the cutout dimensions for each of these models are quite different. We encourage you to review the dimensions for the new model which can be found in the Product Datasheet found when clicking on the Features tab and compare them with the opening you have available in your cabinetry. - A: AnswerHi - Thank you for reaching out to us. We included an optional 30" trim kit with the original SCB1001MSS01 that would allow the unit to be installed as a 30" unit. If you measure the overall width of your existing Advantium, you will know if the trim kit was used. The cutout dimensions listed for both models are 17 1/2"H x 25 1/8"W x 23 1/2"D. We recommend you measure the actual cutout you have available to ensure a smooth installation. The PSB model is the closest comparable replacement model we offer in size and features. We offer models like the PSB9120SFSS that can be built-in to your cabinetry and we offer models like the PSA9120SPSS that can be installed over a range that will also replace an existing vent hood. Time Machine
This is my 2nd purchase of this oven. The first one lasted about 11 years before it began having issues. I liked it enough to purchase another one. Besides the fact that it's a huge microwave, it does so many other things from softening butter to sensor cooking food. The speedcooking is amazing. You wouldn't believe the food could be done in such a short amount of time, but it is. Works as a regular convection oven as well. There's just no downside to this machine.

Best microwave combo on market
I love this oven. Can't beat the versatility. I love all the presets for everything from reheating a plate of food or bowl of soup to softening ice cream or butter. Powerful, fast, easy to clean!! Love the drop down door!!

Very versatile oven
I have used the speed cook, convection and microwave modes and all work well. This replaced a built in microwave. Had to make the opening 1/2 higher but very easy install. It looks great! The one negative is that the turntable always turns, even in convection mode. I tried to cook a roast and with a heavy item the turntable does not work properly. Light items are fine.
