Cleans great and very quiet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cleans and dries extremely well. Wish the rinse aid reservoir held a little more liquid, but hat is a really minor issue. We originally purchased the PDT785SYNFS which is the 39 dBA model. The logic board on that unit failed while under warranty. Replacement parts would not be available for three months due to COVID delay. We agreed to a trade out to this model, PDT775SYNFS, as a full warranty replacement. The units are essentially the same except this unit has two racks in lieu of three, and, this unit operates at 42 dBA in lieu of 39 dBA. We are much happier with, and prefer, the two-rack version. Tall glasses, wine glasses and dishware will fit much better in the upper basket than the three rack version. There is no noticeable noise difference in the models when operating. The noise difference is when filling with water. We can definitely hear the water filling on this model and could not on the 39 dBA. That is not an issue for us as we are rarely in the room the few times during a run that the machine is filling. If anything, hearing the water fill is assurance that the machine is running. We are very happy with both model versions. If we had to do it again, we would go with this model, PDT775SYNFS, because of the extra clearance on the top rack.

Horrible experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely horrible experience. The dishwasher doesn’t work. The door that holds the detergent doesn’t open. Dishes are dirty. Now we find out we can’t take it back. What a nightmare!

Posted .Hi there, thanks for taking the time to reach out! We're sorry to hear about the issues that you've had with your dishwasher, we can understand how frustrating that must be. For the detergent cup issues, take a look at an article on our website titled "DISHWASHER DETERGENT CUP DID NOT OPEN" - the information inside should help! For the poor washing, you can also take a look at an article titled "DISHWASHER - POOR WASH PERFORMANCE." If you continue to have issues even after trying all of these tips, then a service appointment may be needed to further investigate. We hope this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael@GEA

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a good dishwasher that worked well but started growing mold in the bottom ... this one is QUIET! I installed it fairly easily - I bit tedious but really not bad. Capacity meets expectations- everything still fits. Most importantly, we have stopped prewashing/rinsing and even with all the dried ketchup from 3 kids every dish/silverware comes out clean. In a month of daily loads I think we have had to run 1 piece twice. Haven’t used the WiFi yet - don’t really see the point but the hidden upgrades with the WiFi enables series (all steel tub, etc) make this a great addition to the kitchen.

Takes more time than our original GE Profile.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 month in, and the dishwasher is working well. We had a GE Profile that worked for 17 years, so hoping this dishwasher will have the same or better longevity. This dishwasher takes 4 hours to wash a load with default settings, but there is a one hour wash option that we haven’t tried yet. For the price premium, I wish it came with the 3rd rack, which is an optional $160 purchase.

Great Product, but Poor Installers & Installation
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installers had trouble aligning the product under our counter. We've had two other dishwashers installed there with no problem. The product is still not lined up correctly in our opinion. The kick plate underneath the dishwasher literally fell off the day after they left. The installers had used one wood screw and one completely different screw which fell out of the kick plate, neither of which were the correct sheet metal screws for the application.

Leaking water under door
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only one complaint. After 10 wash loads it still has water coming out from under the door. The owner's manual stated it would do this for a couple of loads, but we are going on 11 loads now.

Q: QuestionDoes this unit come with the upper silverware rack? The GE website states this is optional. Thanks.
Asked by EricII.
- A:Answer Mine did NOT! We didn't notice until install. Best Buy covered it since it was not stated on the website or ordering process. Management is aware hopefully and their website should state it soon.

Q: QuestionCan you see how much time is left for the cycle without opening the door"?
Asked by LtDBaggs.
- A:Answer Yes you can see how much time is left. It's a little tight, depending on your installation, but you can still see the timer on the top side of the door and can see how much time is left. I've attached a picture from a slightly older GE Profile Dishwasher where you can see the number of minutes left in the cycle. This is the same for the PDT775SYNFS model which I have in a vacation home so not near it right now.

Q: QuestionWhat delay start features does this unit have and can you adjust the start stop from an app?
Asked by Rcoconut.
- A:Answer Hi Rcoconut, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience. We truly appreciate you considering this fantastic Profile dishwasher for your home and are happy to tell you more about these helpful features! This dishwasher is equipped with the convenient Delay Start feature that allows you to take advantage of off-peak utility rates and not conflict with your family's hot water demands. Selecting this feature allows you to delay the start of a wash cycle anywhere from 1-12 hours. Once the number of delay hours desired is selected, you can simply press start and close the door to begin the countdown. The cycle will automatically start once the allotted time has expired. - Connecting this dishwasher to the SmartHQ app allows you to monitor cycle time and status, receive a notification when the cycle is complete, lock and unlock controls, track detergent and rinse agent levels, receive alerts if a leak is detected, and control the chimes and tones! While you can do many helpful things using the app, it is not designed to remotely control the start and stop operation of a wash cycle. We apologize for any disappointment this may cause and hope that this helps to clarify. Please feel free to reach back out to us if you have any additional questions or would like to learn more. We are always happy to help! -Eliza@GEA

Q: QuestionI have an cabinet that is located on the side of this dishwasher. The cabinet has a pull handle. Will this hinder in any way in opening the dishwasher.
Asked by Denise.
- A:Answer Are you replacing an old dishwasher and plan to install a new dishwasher in the same spot? As long as there is enough clearance for the dishwasher door to open and close completely on the dishwasher, it should not be an issue.
