      Very Disappointed


      I was so excited to order this refrigerator, unfortunately my excitement quickly turned to buyers remorse after receiving it. Let's start with the pros. There is plenty of room in both the fridge and freezer. They are easy to operate and the counter depth fits well. And... that's about it. The cons - It leaks. Water constantly leaks out of the bottom of the left door. I have to sling the door back and forth daily to get all the water to come out. Otherwise it leaks onto my floor or the surface of the freezer drawer. It's noisy. When it's running, you know it. It makes a variety of noises. Squeels, rumbles, vibrations and several different clicking noises. The coffee maker brews different amounts even when it is set on the same setting. No two 10oz cups have been the same. The ice maker makes such a small amount of ice it doesn't even fill a large cup. That's if you're lucky enough to have it actually dispense the ice. It's usually melted to a point that the ice is in a big lump and won't feed through the dispenser. The stainless steel finish has blemishes. Whatever adhesive they use at the factory to secure the plastic wrap leaves marks that you can't get off. It really deserves 0 stars, but considering it does keep my food cold/frozen, I gave it 2 stars. Sadly, my old refrigerator did that just fine, so it feels like I've flushed $2700 straight down the toilet. Disappointing to say the least.

      We got this refrigerator when we had two refrigerators go out in a short period of time. We've had ours a month and really like it. I'm a writer by trade, so the Keurig dispenser was perfect ;) One reviewer mentioned the Keurig splashing, but part of that is the longer fall for the liquid - the same distance that lets me get a pitcher or humidifier tank in the with no problem. I just use a taller mug. For larger vessels, the pull-out tray works well, and allows you to leave the vessel in there filling while you work on other tasks (just don't forget about it!) after it has a couple cups of water in it. Plenty of ice, and the crusher works much more quickly than my last two fridges. On the doors, the shelves go down further and the are more of them. We love the adaptability, especially the drop down shelf under the cheese shelf. In the fridge proper, the folding shelf is really convenient for taller items and the filter takes up very little space to one side and looks really easy to change out. On the outside, for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to smudge nearly as often as the old fridge did. The old one I had to wipe down with cleaner every other day, while this one goes a week or better before needing the same treatment. Overall, a very nice package.

      Poor Implementation of a Good Idea

      We bought this for two reasons: made in America and the built-in Keurig hot beverage maker. We wanted to reclaim some counter space and thought the Keurig in the door would be great. It is great on paper. In practice, the K-cup insert would drip excessively. We also experienced problems with the K-cup spurting and and spewing coffee around the ice and water dispenser. We had a service call and the tech from the Geek Squad mentioned that this seems to occur as a result of built up pressure in the water line. It only seemed to happen when brewing the first cup in the morning. The tech thinks the pressure builds up overnight or during other periods where the water isn't being called for frequently. He had no suggestion for correcting the problem. The other issue we had with it was the slide-out tray in the freezer kept dropping off the rails. The tech made an adjustment but it still didn't quite fit properly. He offered to get a new tray and replace it under warranty. We decided to return the refrigerator and replaced it with a different brand and model.

      Don't Waste Your Money


      Let's face it, you're spending the extra money for the Keurig. Sadly a $100 tabletop appliance works better than this GE engineered piece of crap. No two coffee cups are the same volume, even when all the settings are the same and it sprays a little bit all over the floor. That's when it's actually working, most of the time you get random errors and your cup fills up with mostly water. Now it's stopped working completely and does nothing. This is single handedly the biggest waste of money I've ever made. GE should take this thing back and stop selling them. Great idea, absolutely terrible execution. Save yourself the headache and buy something else. In hindsight I would have bought a KitichenAid fridge and a new Keurig for the countertop.

      An excellent refrigerator so far

      We have had this refrigerator for almost a month. So far, so good. The Keurig feature is an extravagance, but allowed us to get our large old Keurig machine off the counter in our new home, plus you can set a timer (using an app) so it has hot water waiting for you and others in the home at the times you usually want coffee and less waiting for it to get hot. Nice. The French doors are nice and the water and ice maker work great. There is plenty of freezer space and the finish and features of the interior doors and lights are great. Overall an excellent refrigerator with great features for the price! I recommend it. The delivery was fast (the day after ordering) and the delivery people were courteous and explained what needed explaining to my satisfaction. Great job Best Buy!

      We picked this model because we wanted a counted depth refrigerator. It's a very nice looking refrig with good shelf space. However, the first one delivered did not work at all. The delivery guys spent three hours trying to figure out what was wrong. The second one was delivered a week later, within a few days the freezer went out. A few days later the refrigerator went out. A third refrig was delivered. Two weeks later the food started to freeze in the refrigerator section. A repair man was sent out. A part was ordered. It will be put in next week. I am not very impressed with this product.

      This refrigerator is a necessary appliance to any kitchen but is a must if you are building and the builder is doing GE stainless appliances with the side by side fridge. Pass on their fridge or put it in the garage as this fridge is counter depth and will look as close to built in as possible and is the same stainless steel as the rest of the appliances.

      GE Compressor Warranties Are Aweful


      My husband and I bought a GE Fridge in 2013. It went out last week. Our extended warranty expired last year. Everybody stated that the compressor should be covered under the manufacturer 5 yr warranty. Well guess's not! It has to be a "Profile or some other one" I can't remember! How can you put a compressor that isn't going to be cover!!! The cost and repair will cost us $1350! READ READ EVERYTHING IN THE BOOKS AND ASK IF THE COMPRESSOR IS COVERED!
