While this outlet tap does not include anything special (lacks surge protection, smart features), it serves its purpose nicely. I put this outlet tap behind my bedroom dresser that has a TV, cable box, sound bar, blu ray player, and video game console. Before buying this outlet tap, make sure it is compatible with the outlet you are planning to attach it too, and also the type of power cords you will be attaching (your sized typical A/C power). The more bulkier / odd shaped casings that hold the pins for certain a/c cords (something like google nest hubs) will not fit properly due to shape of the outlet tap.

This made plugging in multiple Christmas decor items in at once very easy. takes up minimal space.

This is a good compact way to expand the number of outlets. I like this style of extra outlet better than a power strip laying on the floor. I wish other colors were available when I purchased this outlet, but it gets the job done.
