I'm using these switches in a 4-way setup. I recommend looking on YouTube for instructions as the ones it come with really are lacking unless you are an electrician. I consider myself handy and was able to learn pretty quick. I'm using these with a Smartthings hub, which took a little while and a few tries to get it to recognize the switches, but not the switches fault, probably my network.

Make sure your router is close to the switch. I had to move my router to get to work reliably.

this add on is easy to install if you have the main switch already installed that is wifi capable
