Not much these days that one can watch as a family on TV. We mostly watch PBS or old shows. We picked this up after getting the first two seasons at a discount place. Although dated, it is decent, corny, but the kids find it funny. Don't have to worry about language or violence. And it is a good talking point with kids on how times have changed in TV/film (black and white to color) and women's rights and the emerging of fantasy on TV.

Bought Gilligan because of good memories and so my grandchildren can see what I am talking about remembering the good old days.

I love this show and I have fond memories of my childhood when this show was in first run. Over the next 15 years from 1967 through about 1982 I watched this silly show in reruns almost daily. It's nice to see these episodes again.
