I purchased this crushlamp as a gift for my kids...and ended buying another one for me. I bought it with the intent that it would be a toy, a tool and a teaching device. My kids love flashlights. I wanted my kids to learn responsibility by using the light then having to charge it the next day. I also wanted them to learn about solar power/electricity. This light did all of this. Pros: Solar powered, long run time on low setting (highest setting run time is about three hours), candle setting that flickers, portable and collapses to about the size of a CD case. Cons: Regular price was $25 (I got mine for $15 on sale....recommend that price if you can find it). Lastly, this is a great device for times when you lose power because of the lack of need for fresh batteries and the handle on top allows you to hang it. The abity to charge via the sun or micro USB port is a plus also. We use our nightly to cut our electric bill, it is fun and easy to carry around.

I love Goalzero! I have 400w goalzero portable solar generator 4 years ago and still running great til this day. This LED lantern has small, thin footprint. It can easily be stashed in my backpack or glovebox in my car. But i use it as my nightlight for now. It has 3 modes - dim, med and bright but not as bright as a beaming flashlight. This lantern is an addition to my vast collection of portable lights! Having a small solar panel on top is convenient when you take a roadtrip and place it on the dashboard while you drive to juice up more power. The accordion-type transluscent body made of quality rubber makes it very portable as pop open then close. You can charge the lantern via micro-usb (cable included) with a powerbank. I am keeping it!

Flattens out to be very thin. You can charge via USB or charge with the sun as it has a solar charge deal on top. Nice and bright and you have 3 brightness settings.
