One of my favorite albums ever!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased Cary Judd's album Goodnight Human after I saw him live at a local show. I work at the venue there and had seen many many artists and bands come through. I hadn't heard any of Cary Judd's music before I saw him perform, and I was honestly blown away by his music and sound. I remember honestly thinking that he was the best act I had seen perform at our venue. I bought his album after the show and I couldn't stop listening to it for days. I had instantly became a fan of Cary Judd. The album has amazing creativity in the lyrics and the music. There is a unique blend of songs that seem to flow from one song to the next. I love this album and I am waiting patiently for Cary to finish another album. This is an album that you won't regret purchasing!

Existential Pop?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cary Judd is an almost un-human mix of styles. Not that the music sounds confused, it's totally cohesive music. My friends that consider themselves "indy efficianados" can appreciate this record and overlook the pop delivery and production, in the same breath I suspect more than a few high school football players will son own this album, I guess I'm trying to say these songs have a universal appeal. Mr. Judd has successfully mixed pop with an existential sweetness that has turned on a light in the corner of my brain I didn't know existed, it's quantum candy for the ears.

Just Like Listening Live
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've seen Cary Judd play live MULTIPLE times and what you hear live is what you get on the CD (minus the jokes and stories told between songs). He is truly and original musician and this CD is full of fresh music that I personally NEVER get sick of listening to. This CD is worth EVERY penny.

Such a good listen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend this pleasant listen. The lyrics are thought provoking and sensible. The rhythms and melodies are so cool and get better with each listen. With influences from the likes of "the Smiths" and "the Cure" this album and it's euphonic effects are so sure to not disappoint.
