Sim card was purchased for a UK trip. While the setup was easy, the data did not work in the UK. Yes I had the $65 unlimited plan

Trust me if you're skeptical about Google Fi, do not be. I popped in my sim card, transferred over my pre-existing number from T-Mobile over to Google and I was on my way. I'm saving money without any frills and the service is the same just as if I was back on t-mobile. Google uses T-Mobile so the only thing that I have lost is simply a brand name. If you add on a total of four lines you cannot beat the price.
