A: The insurance company that TMobile uses will still cover it if you transfer it to TMobile and pay for the insurance coverage. I did the same thing last year with the pixel when I bought it and used it on TMobile network. Unfortunately, I did drop my pixel and cracked the screen so I did verify it was covered. You just have to pay the deductible.

A: You will not able to do that. This is a Verizon based phone however you could purchase it at full retail value then take it as an "unlocked" device to a different carrier.

A: This phone can be used on other carriers. The only difference is the Verizon phone bootloader is locked (no custom android images can be used, no rooting the phone) and may come with a few Verizon applications (likely able to be uninstalled).
