Excellent in a pinch
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendDidn't have the time to figure out how to extend my helmet mount to focus on the helmeted subject with solid rods, so had to pick this baby up and use it as an extension arm. Did the job ok. Word of caution, if you are doing any kind of jumping, landing, or anything that may put an upward or downward force on the arm, it will bend and mess up the shot. It is made to bend, and that it does well.

Very usefull addition to GoPro acesories !
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWell manufactured gooseneck, very robust material and of useful length, My only quirk is the mounting issue, the gooseneck should allow you to connect directly to your choice of tripod, clamp or GoPro base, but not ONLY to the GoPro base. Being GoPro so open and flexible ... why not with this item ?

Lots of Fun!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI used to attach my GoPro to the top of my helmet, but could only see what was in front of me. Now I can see my expressions as I go over jumps and while doing tricks on my skis. Its quite fun to see my skiing from that angle. Love this. It feels secure and I've had no problems with it.

Fun with go pro positioning
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI looked at this gooseneck rather than the Clamp with gooseneck as i wanted to have a positionable extension to mount the go pro behind a motorcycle windscreen. This at first was a little awkward to set up but once you have it set where you want it just clip it into the mount plate and head out on a great stable ride. Totally Worth the deal i got on best buy.

Great Handle!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe handle makes it much easier when using the Hero pro series camera. I've also used it as a one legged tripod. The handle held up rather nicely. What I really like is having it on the camera and just walking along with the camera running. No one knows what your doing and you get some amazing shots with it this way. I think I do enjoy it quite well!!!

Versatile Mount
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI used this mount on several bases for my GoPro. Yes, this mount is adjustable but that doesn't mean that you get a shaky shot, this is a very stable addition to your existing mount.

A little to stiff.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe gooseneck works very well for me with the new suction cup mount to get some great shots. It it really firm though I really have to yank on the camera body when I want to move it. Hopefully it will break in a bit and loosen up just a little.

Works well for its intended purpose
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe gooseneck is worth the price if you have a use for a strong, sturdy extension. I tried this on my car, however, and it's not quite "stiff" enough. It tends to make the GoPro bobble around a bit. But I've found other uses for it and it does work well in other applications.
Q: QuestionWhat type of mount is on the bottom? Like is it adhesive?
Asked by ashleyhutton.
- A:Answer No, it is a clip that locks into other attachments like the GoPro clamp and separate adapters that do have adhesive backings.

Q: QuestionHow do i fixI bought a goose mount and the bottom part was shaking when i when to tight in it it got loose and now i can screw it ack in
Asked by sebas.
- A:Answer It is easy to cross thread the bolt. I have gotten into the habit of slowly turning the bolt backwards while pushing in until I feel a "click" that's when you know the thread lead is engaged ensuring is not going to cross thread. At that point you should be able to tighten the bolt securely without issue. Hopefully the threads aren't damaged already.
