I mainly use this as a “dasm cam”, which its not really intended for, but is perfect for it! looping feature plus an accessible charging port (while in skeleton case) plus a screen navigation that allows you to delete all all files on the camera quickly really makes this thing shine as a “dash cam”!

I switched from the Hero 4 Black to this Hero 5 Session because of its size. I do not need 4K for now but the 2.7K does the job done. Only downsize is battery because it is internal, no option for changing what so ever. Pairing with your smartphone is easy and gives you previews of your recordings. Ideal for traveling or mount on yourself because of its weight. Highly recomendable if you're not into heavy editing of post production.
