Great addition to the Go Pro accessory line
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Go Pro frame mount is an excellent addition to the accessory line. It comes with 2 frames, one for camera only and one for camera and LCD or Battery module mounted. It also comes with a lens cap. All control buttons on the Hero 3 Black are accessible as well as the USB connection. This frame allows you to mount the camera without the underwater housing in situations where you don't need to protect the camera from the elements. I keep mine in the frame all the time now, I just put on the lens cap and back in the bag it goes. Inserting the camera in the frame I found a little tricky at first, but once I figured it out it became no problem to quickly mount or remove the camera. I am a big fan of this system and have used it to shoot video and stills on 2 network television shows so far.

Perfect for non demanding elements
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product. The best times to use the farm would be while recording and photographing inside and outside in non demanding elements. The things I use this for include: time lapses, family photos, car video (inside vehicle only). It is especially nice to not have 3 lenses to clean and instead only worry about the cameras one lens. I also believe mine came with a lens cover (which comes in a pack with 3-4 other very small replacement parts that cost $20, so it's a decent deal). The number 1 benefit of this mount is the ability to have a constant charge, giving it unlimited record time, seeing that your SD card will allow it.

Great for Indoor, Low-Impact Environment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This GoPro case is great for indoor environment filming when you know the waterproof case will not be needed. Obviously since it is just a plastic frame, it should be used in low-impact settings where you are not concerned about the camera falling from wherever it is mounted. If you don't install it carefully, the sharp edge of the plastic can leave scratches on the GoPro. The best part about the case is that it leaves the microphone open, so although I would much rather use a different source of audio in a video, it at least helps with capturing reference audio.

Another great addon to the go pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off: if you plan on using this also get a LENS PROTECTOR! this will not keep dirt, water, grease from your hands from smearing on your lens. Wreck you lens and your out a camera or a spendy replacement. I use this all the time with a mount for time lapses and when i'm in dry environment were I also want to get audio. Audio is much better with this then the water tight case for obvious reasons. Also works will with the suction cup mount for example in your car or on a window.

Go-Pro Frame Mount
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The greatest part about the frame mount is the Go-Pro is not in an enclosed case so it picks up sound better while recording. Great for those using their Go-Pros for tripod mounted recording during those not-so adrenaline-driven exploits. Also nice that the usb port is open so the Go-Pro can be plugged in during longer recording sessions making the Go-Pro's short battery life-span an after-thought.

Good mount
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this so I can hook up a microphone to my Gopro. I works great, and holds the camera securely. I have read other reviews complaining how much they had to bend it to get on the camera. I don't see this being an issue unless you use the mount a lot, and I mean A LOT. it may break over time but by time that happens gopro will have come out with a newer camera and everybody will be getting accessories for that.

works great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i like that it comes with 2 frames for regular gopro and then for one with a battery back up. Also the usb port is accessible through it so you can continue to charge during long timelapse shots. fits snug.. and makes the gopro usable without the waterproof housing which in some cases if weight is a factor

Less bulky option for GoPro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to have a smaller and less bulky alternative to the waterproof GoPro case. This is accomplished very well and the buttons function a lot easier. Only down side is that you have to remove the frame to take out the SD card. I may be drilling a larger hole next to the charging outlet so that I can remove the SD card while the camera is still in the frame.
