GoPro - Tripod Mount - Black

I purchased this to support my GoPro for both Tripod mounting and to make my own GoPro floating handle. This small single item works perfectly for what I wanted and is well worth the cheap price.

This is the perfect accessory for the GoPro Hero 3 is you want to build your own GoPole. I used this with CPVC pipe and cap to assemble my own poles for use with sports activities.

It seems as if Best Buy has all of the small items you need to make your camera the best it can be. The adapter was only five dollars but yet Best Buy carried this small little add on componet that I have been looking for but was going to have to order on line but the S & H was going to cost more than the item itself. Kudos to Best Buy for handling this small item. The tripod adapter is small and compact and gets the job done quite nicely.

I have two Hero cams from GoPro, a Hero 2 and a Hero 3. This is an adapter that allows the case to be used on a standard camera tripod / pan-head situation. It is also invaluable to mount a GoPro on the end of a monopod or other extension arm. These used to cost more, but the price has gone down. So, now I have a spare. I've had some of the GoPro plastic pieces crack and fail, which they were quick to replace without charge. The acorn nut area can develop a crack, allowing the plastic to fall away leaving a void around the nut and rendering any of their plastic pieces useless. I have had less problems with that sort of thing recently, so perhaps they've solve the problem with their plastic. In general, GoPro stuff is well made and reliable.

Like anyone with a GoPro you get to a point where the need for a tripod mount will pop up. For me it was to mount it to a suction mount that I attach to my car while storm chasing. I have had this thing on the car while doing 80mph+ down the highway and it hasn't suffered any kind of damage at all. I totally recommend it.

Perfect device to mount GoPro to tripod for time lapse photography or lowlight situations. Inexpensive for the convenience and functionality obtained.

Pretty basic piece but it does the job. Mounted to my paintball mask and after 3 weeks it has held up pretty well. Recommend this item.

The product is good and is priced very reasonably! It can be used to attach go pro on any tripods or gorilla pods.
