Reviewing music (or any art) is always subjective. The technical aspects can be reviewed, academic criteria examined, but when it comes right down to it, it is simply a matter of whether or not the reviewer finds it appealing. Simon and Garfunkel were a seminal pair of voices. Their music can be described as beautiful and serene, while another listener may describe it as wimpy and syrupy. I love Simon and Garfunkel, or else I would not have bought the album. Having a fresh, new pressing of an album I had when I was young is a big bonus.

I have returned to vinyl records recently and I search now for albums from my past that are still playing in my head and even though I usually won't buy a *best of* album choosing instead to buy an album will all new music or same content but with the knowledge that I will Love it when it starts to spin on my turntable. Simon and Garfunkel are living legends and their music is melodic and relevant to this day! The price was reasonable too.

I own a copy but my record is worn and with a slight warp… it was real nice to listen to a fresh copy. Very nice compilation and it takes me back in time, this greatest hits is timeless.
