Customers enjoy the fun gameplay and great song selection in Guitar Hero Live: Supreme Party Edition, finding it easy to use and a good value for the price. Many appreciate the game's graphics and find the challenge enjoyable, although some experienced difficulties with guitar synchronization and setup. A few players also noted an adjustment period was needed for the new button configuration.
I started playing GH back on the PS2 with Guitar Hero 2. I owned every GH since and RB too. I loved these games and when my PS3 died I was most upset about not having them when I upgraded to the PS4. With that being said, I learned with GH World Tour not to buy them on release day as the controllers are notorious for having problems. I waited a year to buy it which was probably overkill, but the game didn't get great reviews so I knew I could be patient. Funny thing is I sit down with my shiny new game and guitar controller and guess what? You betcha! Controller button stick in and will not pop out! Rather than take it back right away I do what I always do with this game. Take it apart, make sure it's not a quick fix. Watch some YouTube videos on sticky keys and 30 minutes later I am ROCKING! The middle bottom row key had too much white paint on the inside and it needed to be scraped off. I also put some scrap paper along the back of the circuit board giving the rubber spring more to push against. ANYWAY on with the game. I love the new button format. It tricks my brain after years of having the six keys in one row. Some of the chord shapes also puzzle me as they would never occur on a real guitar. The included songs and "campaign" are fun, but not nearly long enough. The guitar hero TV concept is entertaining and fun to hear new songs. I have an old mic from the old games so that's fun too. But I REALLY miss two things. The first is the drum set. I feel so limited playing the stupid four pad rock band one, but it's fun. The five pad GH world tour was a lot better. It brought a lot more to the game and I really miss it. The second thing is the option for a bass or rhythm guitar track. My friends and I are all there playing the exact same notes. There is no option for a bass line and quite honestly when one of you misses it's very distracting to the other. This is not the way a real band works and it's a loss. The only other thing I don't like is the fact that you can't fail a song. We would try for hours to get all the way through a song to unlock the next level. With this game you can miss every single note and still move on. What video game works like that? Anyway. It's better than nothing, but still far from the great old games.

We enjoy the new version, although we're missing some favorite songs from The previous GT in PS3, it's still worth it!

This game is great. It would get 5 stars except setting it up is ridiculous. Getting the game to two player mode was relentlessly confusing and time consuming. Other than that its an awesome game. I love that you can play popular songs on the other mode.
