Works fantastic with locked iPhone 4!
Posted .I've been totally impressed with the wireless coverage with this service. I've traveled all around the Lansing area, over to Grand Ledge, south into Holt and Mason, even down into Charlotte (you'll lose it west of Ainger Rd though) and Eaton Rapids and have had great coverage with the service! I've had to talk to customer service a few times, and the wait times were pretty long, but they were able to assist me both times. I haven't gotten the wireless data to work with the iPhone 4 yet, although I've read that others have. I'm using iOS 4.2.1, again on a LOCKED device, and I couldn't be happer with this service, especially for $40/month for unlimited calling and texting! I purchased a locked iPhone 4 from a guy off Craigslist. I then purchased this wireless service, trimmed the included SIM to a Micro-SIM form factor, and inserted it into the iPhone 4. I connected the iPhone 4 to iTunes and it activated instantly, no problems!

Stay away!!!
Posted .Guys- Stay away from H2O wireless. moving to H2O is one of the worst decision I made in terms of my wireless plan, Their 2GB data plan is really useless, it will only give you EDGE speed and lags all the time. I tried the plan with 500 MB on it and pretty much satisfied with the speed and gives me at least 6Mbps but when I moved to 2GB plan I notice my data speed got slow now I am only getting 0.09 Mbps which is useless, there is no way I can use the 2GB caps on that speed. Save yourself some trouble and stay away, there are more MVNO's and prepaid plans out there that will not rip you off. I would give 0 star if possible. Nuff said just very disappointed. I'm moving to a different carrier soon.

Great cell service at unbeatable value
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendBoth my wife and I recently switched to H2O from At&t and Sprint primarily to have a known monthly cost for our cell service but also because the H2O plans are such good value for money. We both had smartphones then, and stilll do now, but with At&t and Sprint we really just felt like we were being fleeced at every oportunity. A smartphone charge here, an unlimited txt fee there and before you know it your bill is a monster. Also if you should EVER do something that's not in the fine print of your contract, well lets not go there! So we got a $40 & $50 plan and so far we love the service. H2O uses the At&t network, so excellent coverage, we get $20 worth of international minutes and unlimited voice, txt and international txt. If you do the math 'unlimited' is essentially 1000minutes.I have 100Mb data and my wife has 500mb and so far with smart useage of WIFI we haven't gotten close to the limits. If you do burn up all your time or data then you can add time or just wait until the end of the month either way you control the bill. all taxes are included and so far their customer service has been responsive and knowledgable. Phones need to be GSM and unlocked (or ex-At&t). The only downside is the 3g limitation so a Samsung G4 or iPhone 5 wouldn't make any sense on this network.

Good service
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendOverall I can't complain ! I mean the service is good and I'm satisfied. My husband, myself , and our kid uses the service. Compared to AT & T and Verizon (The best service ever/ I can't afford there price for phones and service) I certainly will choose H2O Wireless because it's affordable and there's the added ease of being able to add minutes monthly without dealing with all the extra fees as I would should I have chosen to stay with Verizon or go with AT & T.

great unlimited plan
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is a great plan Im using now with my Samsung Note2. I do a of comparisons with services to stay up to date with my unlocked phones to get the most of my features. This is a plan for the unlimited package minded customers! I had a dual sim card phone with a $10 minute plan(200 minutes) on one sim and the $60(unlimited) on the other which I passed to my son. They both get good service(AT&T) where I need it when I travel to my hometown in the woods LA/MS line. I had Sprint/Tmobile service before which did not work in this area or had drop calls inside relatives residences in TX. If you want a plan with the first 500MB of data at 4G and the rest of the 2GB of data at 3G this is it!! No drop calls, steady FB notifications, email, apps,Tango, and google searchs and data has never run out on me even with turning the wifi off tryn to run down the data!! The only bad thing is that the 3way calls only work with the minute plans( 5 cents a minute) not the unlimited!! You cant go wrong with the coverage H2O has using the AT&T towers. Remember this is a good unlocked phone and non contract service; so dont be crying looking to call customer service every five minutes and expect to get someone on the first call. Once you get customer service they can help you if needed!! This is a good service for the people who know what they need and want with their services, you wont see any TV commercials because this is the real deal for the experienced customers wanting no ties to annual contracts, no need to broadcast!! Remember this only works in GSM phones!! Hopefully my average citizen experience and review helps someone.

Absolutely GREAT service! The BEST for iPhone's!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendVery happy with the service that H2O Wireless provides. They're an MVNO for AT&T, which basically means they're a sub-contractor that buys millions of minutes in bulk, and sells them to us, the consumer, at a discount. They use AT&T towers, so wherever AT&T works, H2O works as well. Your phone doesn't need to be jailbroken or unlocked, or anything like that. I just popped in the sim and my standard AT&T iPhone worked just fine. So, you might ask why wouldn't you just use AT&T? Because H2O is AT LEAST half price compared with AT&T! In some cases, AT&T is 3 times as much! I get the same quality of AT&T's service, without paying for the big name of the company! I recommend H2O to all of my friends!

Fantastic Value
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendAmazing value!!!! I needed an MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) that runs on AT&T's network, as AT&T is the only network that has coverage at my work place. It took me hours over a few days to get my service started. At first, I did not want to port in my numbers so I got brand new phone numbers with their SIM cards, but I came to find out that once I get new phone numbers I cannot port in my old phone numbers. So I had to get new SIM cards and get the numbers ported as I was setting up my new service. I came to find out that the internet was not working. I called again (another hour on hold) and the internet started working, but the SMS and the MMS stopped working. Another two days, two more hours on hold, but in the end everything was working flawlessly. H2O is a service of Locus Telecommunications an affiliate of KDDI, the second largest cell carrier in Japan. They will give you unbelievable value, especially if you need to call internationally. With their $50/month plan, you get unlimited calls to US, unlimited SMS/MMS, 2 gigs of data, and unlimited calls to landlines in about 60 countries. Unbelievably, included in the plan is also a $40 credit for the countries where they don't have free calls, or for calls to cell phones in the above 60 countries. There is no way another company could offer a better deal. Once your service is up and running you are on AT&T's network and everything works flawlessly. If you don't care about international calls, just get the $60/month plan and get unlimited everything. Wow!

Better customer service than Net10
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI dumped Net10 after being with them for around a decade. They totally messed up. Went shopping for another pay as you go plan and lucked upon this carrier I've never heard of. Bought the sim at best buy for less than online, then took it home, dropped it in an unlocked iPhone, and bang, I'm back in business. I just purchased another 200 minutes and found out that they have upped the expiration time to 90 days (from 30). My time/minutes rolled over too! I'll be getting a "yearly" card next as i gain confidence with H20. The others have dumped the "yearly" card in favor of "monthly" credit card on file plans. H20 has BOTH.
