Hamilton Beach - Set & Forget 5-Quart Slow Cooker - Silver/Black

I bought this as a gift. It was at a great price and arrived extremely fast. It was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The recipient seemed very pleased and has since used it and stated that it was a great gift!

I love this slow cooker! It works great with the probe. It leaves meats tender and juicy and stops cooking once the food reaches the appropriate temperature. It switches to warm once your food is done.

I have a very hectic schedule. After reviewing my options for quite awhile, trying to make sure I got something that would help me eat better and cost me less time than cooking on the stove top, I found a cooker that would have all, or least most, of the features I found important. This cooker allows me to prepare and eat hot, fresh meals (meat and veggies) at least twice a week with leftovers. I am only feeding myself and because you must fill the cooking area up halfway to prevent damage, having a smaller cooker keeps me from having to make so much that I need to freeze my leftovers because I have more than I can eat. The clean up is very easy as well. It is a fantastic investment. Overall, it is the best thing I got for Christmas!

I've used this crockpot just once and am looking forward to using it again and again. Heated up nicely, kept the meal warm as promised, no complaints. 5-qt size is nice for one person...just a little smaller but still large enough to accommodate regular recipe sizes. WIN!
