Usher... PRINCE OF R&B IS BACK!

This is what I have been waiting for .....the PRINCE OF R&B IS BACK! From the first track (Need U), you can feel that "A Change is gonna come". Usher realized that he can do what many artists cant' do today.....he can actually sing. You get to hear Usher actually singing on this album. He even mixes in some of that "My Way" Usher with rapping. I know many think the rap/sing he does is some trap stuff, but that was taken from old Usher. Usher reminds you with this album that it ain't over and R&B can maybe finally get off life support. Oh and to fans stuck in 2004....please come to 2016. Usher can't live in the past and for that I thank him. 8701/Confessions is Usher's greatest blessing and curse. Is this album better than those two albums.....probably not, but is this album still great....YES! You could put this album right next to those two and have a chill session.

Usher is arguably one of the best male R&B singers of the last thirty years. He has an impressive haul of awards, album sales and a long list of hit sings. I have been a fan since his self-titled album "Usher" in 1994. "Hard II Love," came with lofty expectations. I was expecting an awesome album. "Make U A Believer", "No Limit", and "Need You", are the best songs on the album. I was expecting so much more. With the ever-changing musical, soundscape I can understand appealing to a younger base but at this point Usher is a trendsetter he followed to much on this effort.

I listened to the album on Apple Music and liked it enough to buy it but it isn't an amazing or must-have album. It has good music on it but I personally do not believe that it blows you away. There are songs that are very mainstream (not a big fan) but there are also songs where he slows it down and with the nice and smooth feel.

I really like this new album by usher it may one of his best albums to date. A few of my favorites tracks include bump, let me & missin u. I really each of these because they really show maturity from usher as an artist. The rest of the songs can be used an inspiration for someone is trying to overcome adversity.

"Hard to Love" by Usher is proof as to why this artist is so successful. It has a nice mix of slow ballads that highlight his signature falsetto, upbeat R&B songs that make you feel like getting up and dancing and guest appearances by top artists.

I can remember first Usher cd back in the 90s. I can't believe he has kept himself relevant and continued to put out good music for himself without falling into over saturation and decreased production value. Very impressive.

I really always want to love usher but this cd is not great. The singles are the best he has to offer and maybe one or two more songs I don't skip when the come on, but... just get the singles on iTunes ad you wil be ok.
