Such a shame it was cancelled
PostedThis does end with a cliff hanger, but I still think it is worth watching if you enjoyed the first season. I think part of the problem with the second season is that it works more like the beginning of a trilogy (the complaint of setting things up). I enjoyed the story in both timelines (two separated trips to this island many years apart). The final episode is quite something and the ending set up what would have been an amazing third season. Worth it if you liked the first season, I think. It may work best to binge watch it.

PostedIf your wanting a show to watch several years this is not it. It was canceled. I picked it up just to see where they were going with the show. I'm confused as to why they are ending it but they are.
