when i first heard this i thought it wasn't that good cause it was a slow album. but then i just kept on listening to it and it was a great piece of music. the album was really heavy and was opposite from dear diary in a lot of ways. when i heard sonny sing in waltz moore it made me feel like he was saying it right to my face. it was just crazy. how he sings in the whole album is just crazy. his voice in the crows are coming for us are just tremendous. i cant explain how well he sings in that song and every song. in waves goodbye, there's a total different side of fftl that you wouldn't expect especially since this album is in the "emo" scene. i wish sonny had not left fftl but this album explains it all. his vocals are just too overwhelming to use everyday on their set. leaving fftl could be a regret but his new stuff is out of this world bringing and introducing new stuff.

Decent, but a step back for FFTL

Sonny Moore took lead on the direction of "Heroine" and it's obvious. The sound feels heavier and more electronic, with the instruments sounding synthesized. I wish the band had not allowed this, but the album was still decent. There are like four songs I never ever care to hear, but the remainder are good songs, just not excellent like their previous releases. It's a good album, but nowhere near their "Dear Diary" album

The whole album is awesome to listen to if you like this genre of music. The songs get stuck in your head. You will want to listen to it over and over again. There are a few songs on it that I feel are annoying and don't like. But overall the cd is great.
