I really like this TV for about 75% of my uses. Unfortunately for the other 25% of my use, I really dislike it. What I liked: The panel is a true 10 bit panel. It supports true 4:4:4 chroma which is an absolute MUST if you plan to use it as a PC monitor. Input lag at 1080p is decent at around 35 ms. The refresh is pretty fast so not too much ghosting. The tv supports HDR-10 which is pretty amazing at this price point. What I didn't like: The input lag at 4K is pretty unusable at around 60+ ms. If you plan to game at 4K, then look elsewhere. This is not the TV you're looking for. To give an idea, if you are playing a FPS fast action shooter, if you push the trigger, two or three whole frames will pass before it shows up on the screen. Viewing angle is really narrow. Who this TV is for: Those who want a TV for watching movies but aren't concerned with wide viewing angles. People who are planning to use it as a PC monitor but not for gaming. This TV makes a FANTASTIC PC monitor due to 10bit and 4:4:4 chroma support. (if you don't know what chroma support is, see attached pictures. The crisp sharp text is the chroma 444 and the blurrrier one is chroma 420) Want a great picture but are on a budget Gamers who only plan on gaming at 1080p Who this TV isn't for: Gamers who want to play 4K resolution Large crowds where people will not be able to be able to view from straight on. In conclusion it's a fantastic value if you aren't gaming in 4K or require wide viewing angles

This was my first 4K tv and I got it when my bedroom plasma tv got a line in the screen. We decided on this tv because it looked good in the store and the price was right. We hung it on the wall and it looks fantastic. I did a online search and found the optimal picture settings and I have to say the picture looks amazing. It upscales regular tv and makes old shows and movies looks awesome. I watched the old Terminator movie from 1984 and the tv made it look so good it was like seeing it in a whole new way. The Smart Tv is good but not great like on my other tvs. But the picture makes it worth it. I bought another 4k roku tv and this one beats it hands down because of the excellent picture. I would rather have picture quality over smart features without spending an arm and a leg. Overall this is my favorite budget 4K tv that I have purchased and it works great as a bedroom smart tv. Very happy with it!

My purchase of the TV at Best Buy was really a smart by for the money I spent I can't believe the quality of the picture that I get it I didn't even have to buy special cords or anything like that so I'd suggest this TV to anyone of my friends that are out looking for TVs right now great deal for me

This tv was actually rated as one of the best around $500 on rtings.com. Picture looks great, but losses some quality at side angles more than 45°. I was able to reduce how much it appears to degrade by having a lower backlight, contrast, and brightness. I like a warmer and darker picture anyway. Some people like it bright with a cool tone. If this is you, and you aren't always looking at the tv straight on, I may look at a different tv. HDR did not work on my xbox one straight out of the box. Required a firmware update which was very simple to do through the tv's menu. No issues at all since. If you want a cheaply priced 4k tv with hdr, this is truly hard to beat. Even some Samsungs that cost $200 more didn't look as good. The 5yr geek squad protection plan is great and relatively cheap. I recommend getting it. * Green LED backlight in pictures is something I added. Does not come with tv.

Took a chance on an unknown manufacturer, product had all the right features. I am very happy with the outcome. Screen is bright and. Clear, resoulation is amazing, upscaling is beyond belief.

The TV has a awesome picture and great sound quality. I would recommend this TV for the price any day. You get a good amount of smart tv apps as well and can adjust the visual settings if you are not used to 4K Ultra as well. The sound quality is top notch.
