Amazing picture and sound quality TV
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality and sound of this TV are amazing. It has taken me a little to adjust to the Google TV interface as my experience has been with Roku up until this purchase. Other than it taking a little longer for the TV to actually start (this is due to the Google TV app), I really love this TV. I took a pic of an image on they TV but it does not do it justice. The image really pops and is extermely vibrant along with truly impressive resolution.

Mostly good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Hisense 55” TV gives a nice picture with good color. It’s a good value compared to major brands. Set up was easy. It’s my first smart TV and it’s great having so many free channels, even some news channels. I’m disappointed with the narrow viewing angle. If I’m not in front of the TV and viewing it from the side, the colors are extremely washed out. I think that’s the case with any of the new TVs now unless you can afford OLED. However, OLED TVs have their own drawbacks like more prone to burn-in, not as bright, and more expensive. Considering those things, I’m happy with this TV because the only negative is the narrow viewing angle. Actually, there is one other thing, but not a huge issue. I decided to keep Xfinity but change packages. They told me that set up with them is easy if you have a Samsung or LG TV. Hisense was more complicated and I had a bit of trouble getting Xfinity set up but once it was done, all is good. I also bought a Samsung sound bar on sale since the newer TVs now have the sound output on the back of the TV. The sound seemed fine with just the TV, but it’s easier to hear speaking with the sound bar and music is even better. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase!

Decent Mid-Range TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent 4k Mini-LED Pros: good sound, good picture, good SDR, variable refresh rate for consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X users) Cons: Bad and slow user interface can’t bypass HDR content on certain applications, google operating software is slow and buggy, can’t get access to full features without signing in with your google account, once signed in to google if you log out you’ll lose the extra features mentioned. This is just a personal gripe but might be fine for others, brightness was lack luster for me. All in all I give 4/5 for price to performance. Decent tv flawed by the software.

Sharp picture, solid features, savvy price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great TV on a budget! Picture quality and ability to adjust settings to your liking are awesome. Google TV software is still buggy at times but I'm confident it will get better with updates (it's google!). Not an OLED, but the Mini LED tech is compelling and puts out a nice HDR picture. Gaming at 144hz is a sweet feature at this price point. Sound is great as well with the built in Subwoofer. Overall am very happy with the purchase! Our last Hisense lasted many years and is still going strong. Bonus: taking the shipping screen protector off was super satisfying!

Great Hisense TV!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It surprises me how advanced Hisense TVs are becoming. The display and video quality are amazing. Watching movies on this thing is something else. Gaming is out of this world with great video game quality. And for Best Buy to have it at a fair price makes it even better.

Good for being a Chinese government owned product.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This flat screen, despite where it was made, appears to be an excellent buy. The price is what brought me to this choice. It has phenomenal brightness to wear I have mine at 25%. I've only had this TV for a few weeks but so far it works great.

Great quality picture and high refresh rate!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV! The picture is very clear and very crisp. The high refresh rate is great for gaming. If you’ve never owned a really high quality TV this will definitely take your viewing to the next level. I’ve only found one thing I don’t like, the button on the TV itself. To turn off or change inputs without the remote you have to push the button to cycle through the options, then stop on your selection, then press and hold the button to select that choice. It can be finicky and I prefer the way my old tv operated for this.

Q: QuestionHisense website says the feet on the stand are 36.9 inches apart. Bestbuy website says 39.5. Which is it?
Asked by MattHerrin.
- A:Answer 39.5 I know because my Bello wasn't wide enough to support it. I thought the U7K had 2 positions for leg placement, nope just one. So I jury rigged a tempoary, position to demo the tv. Following day offf to Home Depot, for a good plank of wood $9 took into account overhang, gave my measurements to employee working the saw, cut to fit, went home place the board on my stand that has a glass top, worked perfectly, put a neutral colored towel around the board to disgise it, blends in & looks good, a cheap fix, to a problem, I wasn't expecting. By the way this is an Awesome Tv and a serious upgrade from the U7H & U8H, from last year in every way, a killer Tv for features & value, hard to beat.

Q: QuestionHow is the view on this tv from the side. Does it degrade in quality enough tonot choose it
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Like most tvs in this price range there is definitely some side view degradation but it is not any worse than other models I looked at (Samsung, LG, and Sony in the $600 range). Mostly some color wash but at a large viewing angle I do get some size distortion as well.

Q: Questionis Qled same as Oled
Asked by james.
- A:Answer No, it is not, Oled (Organic Light Emitted Diodes) panels consist of phosphorus diodes, similar to a living pixel. When black is used the pixel involved, shuts off completely, emitting no light whatsoever, it can also handle gradiants from deepest blacks to your brightest whites. Oleds are not as bright as Qled or Mini - led Tvs, but they produce, perfect black. Oled has the widest viewing also, but are best viewed, in a darked room, don't view as well bright light, or sunlit rooms. Oleds are more expensive, because of the technology used. They can suffer from burn - in or, image retenton, but many Manufactures, have resolved this giving the ability of digitally refreshing your panel, to help eliminate this issue Qled is a little different, if I get it this right Quantaum Light Emitted Diodes. It uses mini - Led lights or technology for effect, they are all backlit throughout the Tv, almost all are full array panels, which means, leds are place all around the screen or panel positions. This helps with brightness, colors, & all (HDR) High Definition Resolution & (HLG) High Level Gamma picture modes. These Tvs can produce the very brightest whites, contrast or colors. Viewing angle is not as good, but trumps Oled in bright or sunlit rooms, halogen lighting doesn't matter, Tv's are very bright, many have anti - reflective coating on the screen. Pricing is cheaper with Qled & Mini - Led Tvs
