The Hisense 85UX is a limited edition mini-led with off the charts specs and was built to go against the top of the line Sony. In many cases, it exceeds the Sony. It’s the best TV I’ve ever owned and the picture quality stuns. I loved it so much, I bought a second.

Super Bright images no OLED TV can touch the 85UX with 2,550 nits. NO POSSIBLE BURN IN LIKE OLED! With 20,000 Mini leds this TV performs just as good if not better than any Sony,LG or Samsung. The TV also has Dolby Vision IQ that takes the image and presents it as the creator intended. Color is breathtaking! It also has an amazing 80watt built in sound system that performs as well as any expensive sound bars. I'm still evaluating this TV in total performance and will update this post after final evaluations.

Way better than expected and my first Hisense tv!

Paid for home delivery and setup plus hual away of old tv. Bestbuy delivery team were very professional and courteous making my delivery and setup quick. I would highly recommend paying to get it delivered to your home and to pay for haul away. I had them bring it to the basement and it was worth the service they provided!!! Wow the picture quality (PQ) is amazing after adjusting all the settings starting with Ratings.com calibration settings and adjust to what I think would look great. No I could not say the PQ on the Sony or Hisense look better than the other. But the brightness and less blooming was obviously better on the Hisense. If you can get it for Amazon sale of $2499 if is way worth it!!! As that is 50% off Hisense MSRP! Plus at that price kick butt againt Samsung, Sony and LG top model! Maybe TCL 851G could beat it but I never seen it so I could not say. I still have my LG OLED 1st Gen and Sony X90L and had older Samsung TV's including Samsung plasma and I think to me that I found a TV for the long haul like the LG 1st Gen OLED. I just hope Hisense will continue to support the UX with more firmware updates as both Sony and LG no longer does. Which is quite disappointing considering the cost of purchase! TV sounds great and the Samsung 990C also got it on clearance as the new 990D is out made a match that all I could say is wow!!! I was able to make the Hisense UX the center channel with no issue with syncing echo issues. Highly recommended if you can get it for the current sale price of $2499!

Beautiful Display - second to none.

It is a bit bright out of the box, but setting the set to Theater mode gives you realistic colors that you can set to the desired depth of color. Unpacking definitely requires 2 people that can lift (@ 80lbs a piece) the display to its console or mounting bracket. This is a heavy display but great to watch. Set-up was easy and the documentation is comprehensive. I printed it out from the Hisense website in case i needed help prior to the display linking up to my WIFI. The only drawback is the myriad of choices in configuring every aspect of sight and sound. Most of the defaults are fine, but if you want to tinker you have lots of settings to choose from.

The UX is built like a tank, with great picture quality that's just as good as many OLED TVs - I like it better than my LG C2 OLED TV. The speakers and subwoofers are the best I've ever heard from any TV out there. I highly recommend the Hisense UX 85."

WOW Hisense!!!!

The Sony 900e from 2015 is my previous purchase. Theater room shopper for 4 years for a new TV. OLED is out because I'm used to LED look. Even the GEEK SQUAD installers were impressed with the audio from this TV... no soundbar required. Hisense chopped the $5,000 price to $2,500 and "sold" was my answer. 85 inches with 80 watts to the Atmos speaker system with a built-in sub-woofer.

- A:Answer You honestly have to give it time to stabilize in the market, after said purchases and vetting have placed the TV in the price range both the manufacturer and public can bear. Check back in September-October when Hisense runs promotions. I have purchased two of their high end 65" in the last two years in this fashion.

Q: QuestionHDR is all about boosting colors and making visuals brighter and with more contrast than usual. The 1.07 billion colors 10-bit offers serve HDR better than 8-bit, which supports a maximum of only 16.8 million hues. This TV appears to be only 8bit correct?
