    Synopsis

    Holidays
Directors such as Kevin Smith, Adam Egypt Mortimer, and Scott Stewart contribute segments to this horror anthology about some of the (typically) less spooky special days on the calendar. These shorts find the darkness and bloodshed in New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, and other holidays. ~ Daniel Gelb, Rovi

This is a movie made up of 8 shorts based on Christmas, New Years, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Halloween, and Valentine's Day. Its quite a strange mix of creepy stories, characters, and outcomes. Its kind of written like a comic book with a cliffhanger ending where intended things happen but you may or may not see the end results. Featuring some very hip directors in the form of Kevin Smith, Gary Shore, Adam Egypt Mortimer, Scott Stewart and others. Watch out for the Easter Bunny..an excellent tale about the holidays!!

Cool idea here with covering most major calendar holidays, mostly good stories but a couple of duds (I won't give them away here). For horror film collectors this is worth picking up but probably not a great impulse buy gift for casual horror fans.

Holidays is a collection of short stories dealing with the various holidays of the year. A few were pretty killer. A few were so so. I enjoy all kinds of horror so I will give just about anything a shot. Holidays is definitely worth a look.

There's been quite a few horror anthologies to come out on DVD in the past couple of years and this is a good addition to the genre. Non-horror fans may not be into it, but those that like the genre will find stuff to recommend it.

Cool little anthology flick about different holidays. Most are pretty great, a few left a bit to be desired. Overall good though & worth a watch. I think the Easter segment was probably my favorite, very dark & crazy!!

To be fair, I really liked a couple of the stories here, but not enough to sit through the whole movie for a second viewing. The Easter story was definitely a favorite. Most of the others were meh.

AN INTERESTING PREMISE FOR A SCARY MOVIE USING THE HOLIDAYS AS A THEMATIC BACKDROP FOR MURDER AND MAYHEM. THE BEST ONE IS THE LAST.
