Incredibly talented album!! Although it does definitely have the classic rock sound which I love, it also blends together some great hard rock and some great guitar riffs. And having Brian Johnson join Alice on "School's Out" and "Whole Lotta Love" was fantastic. 100% contains the trademark Alice macabre and humor. Although I normally despise covers, these were done perfectly. And the new songs were terrific. As someone that grew up loving Alice, McCartney, Brian Johnson, Joe Perry and Slash, I'm in heaven. Buy it if you like great rock. And if you don't, you will after listening.

To be honest, I was not looking forward to this one. I'm an Alice fan to the end, so there was no question I was gonna buy it. But going in, I would have been a lot happier with a disc full of new Cooper originals. But to put it quite simply, this album ROCKS. Alice is at the top of his game, and his voice is as strong and sleazy and gritty as ever. The energy on this thing is through the roof, and even the songs that don't deviate much from the original versions feel like new. Oh, and there ARE two original songs, and they're fantastic. Add a spoken word intro featuring Christopher Lee reading a passage from "Dracula" and you've got near perfection. If you're on the fence because you're not into covers albums, BUY IT. i was just like you, and now I can't stop playing this.

When you put Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and the surprisingly talented Johnny Depp into a studio and ask for a record, you probably wouldn't be expecting the absolute thrill that Hollywood Vampires turn out to be. With the biggest names in Rock showing up for a track or two, this album absolutely shows that the old rockers are still better than the new ones. Joe Walsh absolutely destroys the guitar solos in "Whole Lotta Love" and Brian Johnson is fantastic on this record. The 70's never sounded better.

The Hollywood Vampires is a Super group of just about anyone and everyone you can think of in Rock N' Roll. The Hollywood Vampires is the brain child of Actor Johnny Depp and Rock N' Roll Legend Alice Cooper. The album also features Brian Johnson of AC/DC, Sir Paul McCartney, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, etc. This album has a great sound. This is just not your ordinary jam session. There are both covers and original work on this album. The album flows nicely and is great addition to any rock fans collection.

Quite enjoyable album with Alice and guesting players. Nice reworking of some 60s and 70s classics and a few originals to boot. Cooper is in pretty fine voice and spools up the usual energy found in his other recent releases. Of course not totally on par with classic Cooper from the 70s but a nice addition to his catalog none the less.

Even tho this album is mostly covers, I do enjoy it. All the songs are done with great consideration for the originals. I have already loaned it out for others to listen to, and all have liked it. Great album for people that love rock and roll.

Alice Cooper and his core band (including one Johnny Depp) have an outstanding list of guests artists joining them. Joe Perry, Slash, Joe Walsh, Brian Johnson, Perry Farrell and quite a few others. Stand out songs include Whole Lotta Love and the Schools Out/Another Brick In the Wall mashup. Wonderful.
