    I've had this dehumidifier for a couple months and running it almost every day around the clock in my basement and it's been working very well. It's fairly easy to move around and not noisy. It's nice that it has auto-shut off when the reservoir is full of the water it pulls out of the air and that alternatively the water can be drained via your own hose. So far I've been emptying the water from the reservoir every day either just before it's full or after it's full, which is easy to do and fairly easy to replace the reservoir: I just put it back in while holding up the little feet on the bottom. I'll probably hook up the hose to drain it someday. I found it's best to wait a few minutes after shutting it off before pulling out the reservoir so that water doesn't drip when the reservoir is pulled out. The manual says to wait a few minutes before turning it back on. Also, if it's been laid down, such as during transport or storage, it must wait 4 hours standing up before powering on. I'm glad I got it because the musty smell in the basement is gone now.

    Use in a room that has 245 sq ft, and does not have a water problem. Unit works very well in this space. I don't bother with the timer, as I just set the humidity level I want, and it runs until it gets the room humidity to where I want it. Shuts off, and comes back on when the humidity in the room climbs back up. On low, not too noisy. High might be tough to work around constantly. Has a long warranty compared to the competition. Excellent for my circumstances, which in no way stress the limits of this machine.

    Th dehumidifier so far works pretty well for my home, initially on the first floor to remove the moisture from the subfloor for floor remodeling , and now for my large basement. I haven't attached a hose yet, so everyday, one bucket of the water removed. I like the control panel design, simple, clear and easy to use. Manual was very easy to read and follow. A good, handy product. The only drawback is it's a bit noisy. If this can be improved, it'd be perfect to be used at any room you want.

    This might be just one lemon of a dehumidifier but my experience was bad. It never cleared the smell in the basement and did not address the humidity. I have had a smaller one that worked well but it was older ( when they made them better). I don’t know if it was faulty but I took it back to Best Buy. They refunded me right away. No problems.

    This product was ready to go out of the box. No set up necessary which was a bonus. The bucket is easy to remove and replace. The standard hose connection is perfect if you have a drain close to the unit.
