Q: How often do the filters have to be replaced?
A: Depends which filter you're talking about, there is the pre filter that takes about 4-7 months till its no good, and the hepa filter which takes 2-3 years to change. They not to expensive as well, the price is good.

A: YES! I have a dog and allergies. After a week I noticed the room I have the air purifier in did not smell like dog anymore lol. Works great just give it a week on full blast.

A: It is for home or commercial. Yes it has a three prong plug. Most larger appliances do today.
Q: are the filters washable / reusable? does this unit come with extra replacement filters?
