The movie opens up at the climax of the supposed rescue from the wolf of Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother by the woodcutter, but quickly the police (who jump to conclusions following the traditional story line) and a detective frog (who is good at investigating and getting the details) arrive on the scene. Each person gives their version of what happened from their point of view. The wolf was NOT the guilty party...but I don't want to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it. This is a great movie to show how our understanding of situations will change once we have all the facts. I think this movie can be a great educational tool for teaching people how to write creatively. It even has applications to real life on the importance of not jumping to conclusions. I highly recommend it.

When we reach the point of being at Grandma's house with the wolf disguised as Grandma in her bed when Little Red Riding Hood arrives followed soon after by the woodcutter, it is so easy to lay the blame on the wolf until a wise frog has each person tell his story. Suddenly the fingers are no longer pointing at the wolf as the guilty party. The story is cleverly done and an excellent teaching tool with children if you take the time to pause the movie at strategic moments and talk about what is happening.

One of my favorite kids movies growing, and even as an adult, I still love it. Animation is fun and engaging, the story is very entertaining, and the film features a stellar voice cast. I was happy to get this item at Best Buy because it came as described for a really affordable, cheap cost. Totally recommend purchasing at Best Buy if you are looking for a fun family film for an upcoming movie night.
