Customers are delighted by the Power Scrub Deluxe's cleaning performance and ease of use, frequently praising its effectiveness and user-friendliness. Many appreciate the machine's weight and find the price reasonable for the quality. However, some customers point out that the water tank could be larger and the cord is shorter than ideal; a few also reported minor leakage issues.
Quite a bit lighter than my 18 year old Hoover that was built like a tank. Does a nice job cleaning carpets and suction is great. I couple of things I would improve: The switch between wash and rinse is on the front of the water tank intead of on the handje like my old unit. Not as convenient switching back and forth. The water tank clips into the column at the top. The water tank has a handle at the top for carrying. Not sure I would trust a smaller clip to hold the weight of the machine. The first time I used it the clip was not fully engaged and came off as I started to lift. The dirty water tank has a cylinder at the top of the tank that raises with water level so the unit stops suctioning and aa a guard agaist overflowing. The cylinder is light and open at the bottom and it popped up a couple of times as I backed over floor transition pieces, causing me to stop the machine and wait for it to go down. My old unit had a heavier (sealed bottom) cylinder and I never had that problem (see photo). Overall the cleaner is good and gets the job down for the price.

I think my expectations were a bit too high when I got this. I thought it would be a one and done type job but I typically have to repeatedly go over the same spots if I want real results especially when my dog pees on the carpet. Its good for spot cleaner but not power enough to really scrub odors from the carpet. The water container also fills up pretty quickly. The water container is also starting to smell and stain even though no water is ever left in it.

I love this washer machine. So simple and one tank can clean a whole living room. Easy to use and I've used the Kirby and this one is way superior for cleaning carpets.
