The suction is great and the attachment reaches everywhere and cord is so long u never have to switch spots . Works great for dog fur removal.

So far so good, learning the ins and outs of use. Had a woman friend of mine assemble it for me, could have done it but she did it quickly. It delivers on performance and I am happy with the purchase.

The suction is terrific, not so much that it doesn't easily move over the carpet and enough so that it picks up everything, including pet hair. The long cord is a plus. The tools are poor at best and the clip that allows the cannister to be emptied is a bad design, will break easily. However you can unscrew the top of the cannister to empty. Overall for the price it is a great buy, it beat out the top competitors by $30.00 or more. This savings allows you to get a 4 year extended warranty. Best Buy has proven to be extremely reliable when it comes to their contracts. I would highly recommend.

After researching vacuums I decided on this one. I'm so glad that I did! I was amazed and embarrassed at how much this vacuum picked up out of my carpets. The picture I'm attaching was just from my livingroom, (which is not even that big). I'm honestly shocked at how crappy my old vacuum was, compared to this one. Great for any household, but especially one with pets! Picked up TONS of hair. Very happy with my choice.

Thus vacuum is incredible and the suction is unlike any vacuum I've had before. Great price especially for what you get out of it. It made our carpet look like new despite the immense amount of pet hair. The gadets and wand are all just icing on the cake to make a very well rounded product.

I had researched quite a few vacuums but decided this one might be the one. I bought it at my local Best Buy and took it home. Easy to unbox, put together (like 2-3 needed attachments) and it was on. Vacuuming with this was a breeze, the swivel is definitely a plus and not flimsy at all, unlike others with the swivel design. Attachments are good quality and I especially like the little black bag that comes with it. The vacuum has a lot of power and that is reflected on its powerful suction. I immediately noticed that this was picking up dirt left behind from the my other vacuum (which I had just used). I like the on/off button for the brush in case I want to head over to my hardwood floors and not kick dirt around. I also love the LED headlights, it lights up the way and gives it a nice modern high tech vac look. Well, there are much more good things to say about the Hoover PowerDrive Pet vac, but overall I love using it. Just make sure you check for hair on the brush head, clean it out occasionally, and you'll be fine.

I have a large family and a lot of pets. A good vacuum is important to me! This Hoover is everything I need. It has great suction, it turns easily, it has a dirt collection tank rather than a bag, and the requisite number of useful attachments. I LOVE the collection tank type of vacuum. I don't think I will ever go back to using bags. I can see how full the tank is, I can see what is getting picked up, and it is easy as can be to empty into the trash. The powerdrive is an excellent tool for picking up dirt and hair. The carpets in my home look terrific. I also used it to clean my car today. The hose, crevice attachment, and small brush with "turbo" action did a great job at getting my floor mats and seats clean.

our 3 year old 450.00 dollar Simplicity broke and we purchased this until we got an answer on repairing the Simplicity. Low and behold this Vacuum works better than the Simplicity especially on pet hair my wife vacuumed over a carpet she had vacuumed the day before and the collection canister showed quit a bit of debris the Simplicity left so it is now our main vacuum with the Simplicity getting back up duty only. The Simplicity is also a bag vacuum and it has to be changed about every 4 vacuums. The Hoover has a canister you dump so no bags to buy either. Our only complaint is the entire vacuum body and canister is plastic so if ever dropped in transport it would probably not fair well but it works great and is fairly quite and about 60% of the weight of the Simplicity. Would buy again and will if it holds up for a few years as it cost 33% of the Simplicity.
