BOUGHT IT TO PLAY ON MY WIFE'S PS4. LOVE IT SO FAR
BOUGHT IT TO PLAY ON MY WIFE'S PS4. LOVE IT SO FAR
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI'M ABOUT 8HRS IN (BUT I PLAY SLOW AS ALL GET OUT SO THAT MEAN 3 HOURS FOR EVERYONE ELSE LOL). SO FAR I LOVE IT. THE GAME CREATORS MADE A BEAUTIFUL WORLD THAT IS JUST GORGEOUS TO STOP AND JUST EXPLORE. ON TOP OF THAT, THE STORY IS AWESOME. I LOVE THE IDEA OF A FUTURE DYSTOPIA THAT IS ABOUT REBUILDING ON THE ASHES OF THE OLD CIVILIZATIONS. EVEN BETTER THAT IT'S DONE SO SUBTLY. I DON'T WANT TO SPOIL IT, BUT I JUST LOVE THIS SO MUCH. I'M ACTUALLY TERRIFIED OF COMPLETING THE STORY BECAUSE I DON'T WANT IT TO END. I CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS GAME ENOUGH AND I' M NOT EVEN DONE YET.

|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI bought this for my 4K tv with my PS4 pro and it did not disappoint. I’ve wanted it even just from when I saw a friend playing it on a standard TV because the gameplay was amazing to watch and even then the graphics were amazing but the 4K upscale really is a difference and makes me glad I opted for the pro with my TV. The first hour and a half of the game I spent in the tutorial really making sure to just enjoy how beautiful it all was. Since then I’ve just continued to get lost wandering the world sometimes doing a quest here and there. I love that it is optional for the open world wandering and going at your own pace play style. If you haven’t played it, I would totally recommend giving it a try.

Very fun game
Very fun game
|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendThis was an absolutely thrilling experience. The environment, graphics, sound, story, quests, bgm/ost (which I bought!) and characters were compelling and thoroughly enjoyable. It was challenging and difficult at times but always fun. I bought this on a whim (a variety of online critics gave it exceptionally high scores) and I was not disappointed. My only real criticism: certain aspect of the melee combat can cumbersome at times but that issue was infrequent and not enough to detract from the overall game. There are a handful of other minor detractors (occasionally odd character animations, the inventory/crafting is a little cumbersome, etc.) but they shouldn't be enough to prevent overall enjoyment.

|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI have not been using my PS4 as much as I should. After neglecting it for a while I went to get a game that I heard a lot of good things about. Enter Horizon. Now, I did a bunch of console updates and then installed the game prepared to not be as impressed as I wanted to be. I was pleasantly surprised. The game in truth looks and plays great. The robotic creatures are fascinating and the characters are well done. The game is as good as I had heard and I’m very pleased to get back to the PS4 to play this. In fact, it’s the only game I’ve been playing lately. Don’t hesitate on this or in hoping for a sequel.

Love this game

|Posted .Owned for 6 months when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendLove this game. Main character is refreshing hero. Gamplay is exciting and controls are great. It really makes you feel you are against wild animals even though they are robots. Get creative with your combat as all robots have weak points and it is fun seeing parts fly off of them . Story is engaging and really makes you wonder how something like this might happen and from the perspective of tribal factions that are trying to figure out our technology.

As great as BOTW
As great as BOTW
|Posted .Pros mentioned:Fun, Gameplay, GraphicsCons mentioned:Side questsI would recommend this to a friendI'm going to say something that would qualify as blasphemy to most fans of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (BOTW)—I like Horizon Zero Dawn just as much. I’ve been a long-time fan of Zelda games (and basically bought the switch to play BOTW), so I don’t think I could bring myself to say that I like it more than BOTW but… You get the idea. Honestly, I almost didn’t give it a chance because I didn’t think I’d like the story (post-apocalyptic setting, rampaging machines, etc.), but a friend said the story was amazing so I had to give it a shot. I’m glad I did. I LOVE the storyline. I haven’t finished the game yet, but I get a sense that there will be some good twists. Also, the voice-acting is top notch, the world interesting, and the graphics great. The fighting mechanics are fun and feel natural. And I actually enjoy the fighting—which is saying something—because if there is one thing that will bore me in gameplay it is the fighting. I also love the side quests, of which it has plenty. If you hate side quests, it doesn’t hurt the overall gameplay if you skip them, but they do help you to level up quickly, get stocked back up on resources/shards, and some of them have engaging little storylines. Overall, it has kept me very entertained for hours on end.

|Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendMuch I can say about this game, but to keep it brief: definitely give it a play. Combat is satisfying, not overly complicated yet in-depth. Graphics are outstanding through and through. Story and voice-acting and simply great quality.

|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendI have been wanting to play this game for quite a while, but when it dropped to $9.99 for Black Friday it would of been foolish to not pick it up. All the online reviews are true, just an amazing game, and I am only about an hour in.
