I enjoy My hp
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy my hp computer and the fact that I can stop by Best Buy and have the Geek Squad and Best Buy personnel assist me with anything I need. I enjoy the touch screen feature.

Replacement Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop was a replacement to the same laptop that did not come with battery. Laptop works good enough for daily computer task but a tad slow when i have to do some graphic and CPU extensive tasks. I do not like the keyboard because I got used to the Toshiba-type where the keys are big and connected together. This one has the Apple Mac style keys which are separated by at least excellent 1/8th of an inch apart - one reason i do not buy a Mac. Another thing i do not like is the touch pad buttons seems chwaply made and clunky when pressed. Other than that...my daughter will have this one and i am getting a Toshiba.

Good Computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for the price. I had compared other similar laptops with other websites and found this one for the same price, but with more memory and hard drive space. Didn't have any issues with setting it up or adding my virus program. This laptop runs like a smart phone with the apps and touch screen and very easy to use. I had bought this laptop for my daughter for school. She's just started college. She's enjoyed it so far and has easily caught on to using it without issues.

Good value laptop, perfect as work laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a laptop purely for work. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, VPN and to run SAP client. Minimal software installed. This laptop is perfect for this purpose, starts up very fast and hasn't let me down yet with any of the applications. Good battery life of around 5-6 hours, and I use it for presentations frequently during the work day. Its light enough to carry around everywhere. For under $500 its unbeatable. Only downside is that the screen can be quite glarey under certain sunlight. Touchscreen is nice which was a surprise for the price paid.

Great Laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did ALOT of shopping around before I made my purchase. I wanted a computer that could handle my needs. Its for home use...Music ,Games, Photos, Internet, Email. After many hours of research; and 1 purchase and1 return, I finally found this laptop. It was affordable, fast enough, and has enough storage/storage options. Also the free windows 10 install was a plus. The only negative thing I could say is the battery doesn't last long enough. For me that's not a problem as its for home use. I'm happy with my purchase!

Great Lower End Touchscreen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw the pricing on this laptop I was leery. It definitely shocks you that you can get 6gb and touchscreen from an accredited brand like HP for that low of a price. In addition it was running Intel on its processor. I saw no downside so I went for it! So far nothing has gone wrong with it at all. It runs great. And for you gamers who think they need a $1000 laptop to run a MOBA or MMORPG and be competitive. I play a decent amount of the popular games and get an average of 100-150 fps (depending on the game obviously). So this is a great laptop for a variety of uses.

Quality Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love that this laptop is also a touch screen. It even has a button for a keyboard to appear on the screen to use that can even be split in two so I can still see the full screen. I love that it also has a DVD player. The glossy texture of the laptop means it is easier to wipe and clean. The screen is a reasonable size and the touch pad works well and hasn't given me any problems. I love that it comes with an automatic update of Windows 10 and you have 1 month to switch back to Windows 8.1. The only problem I have had so far is that with the upgrade, my SD cards no longer seem to be recognized by my laptop. This laptop has a good amount of storage and I love the sturdy quality of the AC plug.

Q: QuestionWhat's the average battery life?
Asked by Pearlm12.
- A:Answer For me it has been around 5-6 hours or so. Wifi on all the time, I move around various buildings during the day. I dont like very bright screens so perhaps it helps with the battery life that I have the brightness turned down. Having said that I dont think any of my apps are power hungry (office, SAP, browser use).

Q: QuestionCan I change security software?I'm not familiar with the included security software and I'm told Windows Defender is a good product. Can I change the security software?
Asked by Lucy781.
- A:Answer Yes absolutely. One of the first things I did with mine was get rid of the included Norton trial and just use Windows Defender. I use the same thing on my Windows 7 desktop but there it's called Microsoft Security Essentials. It can't hurt to use another company's free scan occasionally to make sure Defender isn't missing anything, but unless you visit questionable sites you're gonna be pretty well protected by it. It runs without taking up a lot of resources and updates through regular Windows Update, very simple. In my case, once I uninstalled Norton it just automatically had Defender with no further action required.

Q: Questiondo any of you laptops have word.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer built in no. you do get wordpad in which you can write a paper. if word is a concern get a Live email acct it's free and owned by Microsoft. You get office for free along with word, powerpoint, excel etc... look it up. Live.com click on the Microsoft icon on the upper left corner after you log in. also you can use google docs which is free. the great thing about these two services and they are linked with your email so you can log on from any pc anywhere and access your document. look then up on youtube

Q: QuestionDifference between "integrated" and "non-integrated" in HP laptopsI'm looking at the $349 deal of the day and the new $399 HP 6GB laptops. One difference noted is the less expensive model is non-integrated and the other is integrated. Is that a big deal for a basic user?
Asked by Lucy781.
- A:Answer integrated simply means the graphics. usually when a computer has non integrated graphics it has a separate dedicated piece of hardware called a video card to handle all the graphics perfect for hi graphic games like call of duty etc.... Integrated means the graphics are produced by a graphics chip which is integrated into the motherboard. perfect for youtube, movies and light gaming etc...I would go with this HP touchscreen it's awesome and fast. the touchscreen is a great feature.
