I have not had this calculator for very long yet but so far I really like it. I am just learning to use RPN mode but It seems very efficient, and the manual provides a fairly good description of how it works to get you started. I am a Structural Engineer and I use this calculator every day at work - I like the built in unit conversions and this calculator performs well for the everyday calculations I need to make.
I haven't found much use for it yet but the equation solver seems very powerful if used correctly - I will be looking more into this in the coming weeks. Overall I would recommend this calculator - the only downside seems to be the price. you can get much cheaper scientific calculators, although not with all the features that this one offers.

Great to still find HP RPN calculators. They are so much nicer.

Professionally is very practical for fast engineering calculations.
A:AnswerYes the 35s solves integrals. It does not solve derivatives. You can easily program it to compute matrix operations, and also there is a eqn solver built in that can solve 2x2 and 3x3.
