Q: HP 61
A: The 61 XL cartridge has over twice as ink as the Regular 61. When you go for a new cartridge, the XL will be slightly lower than 2X the regular 61. I always by the XL black beacuse I do a lot of letter writing and don't use a lot of color, so buy the Regular 61 color cartridge. If you print out of photos that I would recommend the 61 XL color cartridge. It will be cheaper in the long run. By the way, even though the your printer is not listed the 61 cartridge, those may be leftover carts that were out before your printer was. If 61's came with your printer than that is the replacements you should use. I hope this helps.

A: I don't know if they are the same thing but the HP61XL Cyan/Magenta/Yellow is better. I have used both the 61 /XL Tri-color and HP61XL Cyan/Magenta/Yellow.

A: An XL cartridge is the exact same size as the regular cartridge. The only difference is the amount of ink in the cartridge. So, yes, an XL cartridge will fit your printer.

A: Since Covid, it looks like HP is using this excuse to not package the cartridges the way they did before COVID-19. Poor excuse to charge customers more!
