HP - C2600 Keyboard and Optical Mouse - Black

Do not like that the Num Lock key doesn't have a light above it to tell me it is on. Also do not like when I'm typing an e-mail the back key doesn't work - have to use the mouse cursor & can't tell if it is where I want it unless I type something. ESPECIALLY DO NOT LIKE that there was no paperwork with the keyboard to explain the silver buttons on left & right of keyboard. I did a search but could not find the explanation either for this model of keyboard.

Has no caps lock or num lock indicator and if you are enter in a pass word you are screwed. .

I searched and read the detail for information of this item. I was looking for a HP keyboard with indicator lights. The details of this product stated that this keyboard had indicator lights. I purchased it and brought it home to find that when I opened the box and started using the keyboard, it in fact, does not have indicaor lights. When I called the store to let them know, they were very nonchalant about it, saying that sometimes the Product Information is not accurate. I was very very disappointed. If you are looking for a keyboard with indicator lights, C2600 does not come with them.

So first of all, the keyboard is missing two really important LEDs--the one that tell you that CAPS LOCK is on and one that tell you if NUM LOCK is one. It's frustrating to constantly have to check. Also, the mouse has a hard time picking up movements. I had to replace it soon after. Huge lit-down, esp coming from a name brand.

Sometimes you just want simple plain old USB devices—no bluetooth, no batteries, no fuss. The one thing that would make it better is if you could daisy chain the mouse through the keyboard rather than consuming another USB port on whatever machine you hook it up to. I was adding this to my mom's Chromebook (with only one USB-A port) and had to buy a USB hub first.

I only needed a simple USB keyboard and this was the cheapest name brand I could find in a store that was close to me. It was just s bonus that a mouse came with it and now I have a backup mouse if I ever need one. The only gripe I have about the keyboard is it's so extremely feather light that it constantly moves all over the desk when typing on the keyboard and the desk is a smooth surface. Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars instead of 4.

Mouse is fine no complaints, keyboard is fine except for one small shortcoming, it lacks Caps lock and Num lock indicator lights. otherwise I'm happy with the keyboard and it works fine.
