I bought this laptop for my son that's entering junior high this year. He's a gamer and music lover on top of being a good student. I wanted something that would suit all of his interests. This hits the mark so far. The major problem was, I was sent the wrong power cord. Thankfully his dad had one the correct size lying around.

Purchased the refurbished HP EliteBook laptop in Nov. 2017 and in June 2018, the laptop crashed with a hard drive failure. None of the data was recoverable and it cost several hundred dollars to replace the drive. In my 50+ years in Information Technology, I have not had any issue with my personal hardware, so I would have to recommend not purchasing refurbished equipment because if you have issues with the hardware you end up investing more money than if you had paid full price in the beginning

Nice price. It was in wonderful shape. A little buggy but it serves my needs. Usually. Only drawback was no cd/dvd copy and burn software but that’s more of an OS issue.
