When I recently purchased a new Dell computer, I found that my 10-year old HP Photosmart printer did not work with the new system. I went on-line and purchased a HP ENVY 5660 Wireless All-In-One Printer; it prints, scans, copies, and prints photos. The best price I found was at Best Buy. It is wireless (although I will probably never use that feature) super quiet and prints fast! And it looks great on my desk, also.

BestBuy employee took time to show me the features, price compare w/other models; easy to come to decision w/his help. Like the wireless feature to print, used to having to plug in the connecting cable. I don't need volumes of printing in my home office, so chose not to try automatic shipments of ink. Will use scanner & double-sided feature, will learn to print photos from iPhone or iPad. Easy! I like this machine; it does everything I need in my little home office.

Purchased this printer after talking with store employee when I explained I wanted a wireless printer that was easy to set up and use and that would be compatible with our I-Pads. Employee said this one worked well, was a great buy (on sale) and would be his recommendation for the money based on what I said we would be printing. Very simple to set up and to connect to with the I-Pads and I-Phones, and prints very nicely, too!

We've had bad luck with HP printers in the past and I really didn't know what to get. We wanted a scanner as well. Luckily there happened to be an HP rep on the aisle and answered all of my questions. Prints FAST and we love the hp cartridge refill program.

The setup of this All-in-One Printer (AIO) is a little more difficult than the usual, as this item has multiple features that need to be configured during the setup. The AIO software creates a sort of menu for easier management, I find it extremely useful. While I probably won't be using all it's features I'll review the ones I've used, the printer function is quite fast for an AIO, and made easier with the automatic output tray extender so you only need to collect the finished project. The scanner software is not very intuitive for a new user, as I've had trouble finding some secondary functions, but works well nonetheless. The AIO touchscreen responds fast and accurately to any commands and gives useful instructions to the user. Although it is not mentioned in the product description this AIO supports HP Printables/Apps offered on the HP Connected website at no extra cost, these provide a variety of unique prints, such as newspapers, cross word puzzles and many more.

PROS: The printer is easy to setup and use. The touchscreen is large and has easily understood icons and directions. The paper tray holds a large amount of paper and is easy to refill. The paper stay opens automatically when the printer starts printing keeping the papers neat and in the out tray. There is an SD card slot nicely hidden behind a door in the front of the machine keeping dust out. The print results are clean and clear and great quality. CONS: The photo tray only holds 4x6 paper. Although I haven't tried it yet, I believe you can use the general purpose tray for larger photo paper. The scanner only allows you to save individual scans. Previous 3-n-1, I was able to scan multiple pages in one file with the use of HP Solution Center software. However, this printer is not compatible with this older software. OVERALL I just installed this printer recently and haven't used all the functions, but this replaced my HP Photosmart Plus and all the functions are almost identical. I really like the printer, and although I miss some of the functions of the previous machine I am very happy with the purchase.
