After over a month of using this laptop, I can really say I absolutely LOVE it! For the price and what you get, you really can't beat it. It's incredibly fast and the 165 hz screen makes everything feel SO smooth, and the light up keyboard makes typing so easy in the dark. I don't really understand what a previous review was saying about it being bad for gaming, but I've had 0 problems. I've run smaller games like Skyrim and Far Cry to more demanding games like GTA, Apex, and Rainbow Six with no problems. This laptop will eat anything you throw at it. Now my biggest con with this laptop is it will get HOT very fast, but I mean it's a strong laptop so I get that 100%. My only thing is the intake is at the bottom so you kinda have to keep it propped up or on a completely flat surface but that's pretty normal for laptops. The laptop itself will try to reduce heat by switching to the onboard graphics when you're not gaming which does help a ton. As for battery... it's a laptop for gaming lol, you'll be lucky to get 3 hours out of it while gaming. I haven't tested how long doing regular stuff.

I brought HP Omen with a little hesitation reading on the issues with motherboard, but after using it for almost a month i dont see that coming . Its a really good laptop and the deal I got was amazing. I9 for 999 was an amazing deal and got 15% extra discount for best buy card. I am planning to take best buy garunty for extra support. Only thing i wasnt happy was the UPS delivery. The box was full of black lines of the package being dragged and delivery was delayed. The delivery guy just left it infront of my door and went away. I am happy with the laptop and its gaming experienc. Also with bestbuy. Will update the review in few months based on my further experience. Best buy membership garuntees 2 months of free returns that gave me more confidence on buying this product.

Laptop is great. Can run games good and graphics are great for price. Only cons is that the fan is loud and the battery drains fast.
