HP Pavilion 22BW 21.5" 1920 x 1080 HD monitor
Posted .I purchased the HP Pavilion a few days ago to use with a new Mac Mini I bought. The monitor is a very good value for the money, can't beat it for a 1920 x 1080 resolution monitor in my opinion. It was fairly easy to set up and I was using it with my Mac in about 5 minutes of taking it out of the box. It hooks up to computers with either an HDMI, DVI or VGA cable. The monitor is very sturdy and has a nice viewing angle and a perfect height to it for viewing. It also tilts fairly easily. I like the added gloss on some parts that HP has added compared to some competitors that just use a matte black finish. If you need a monitor but don't want to spend much and still want a good quality one with a good size this would be an excellent choice, I would recommend it to anyone for only $130.

Nice monitor
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI was looking for a monitor for use in a room with a lot of windows and most that I found were glossy finish, this one is a matte finish. It has a good brightness level and I can see it quite well even in a very bright room and most importantly with out glare. I bought the unit on sale at about $120. Also this unit came with both a vga and dvi cable. i was also looking at the less expensive model, but realized i would also need to buy a dvi cable at $20 so the saving weren't really there.

Excellent quality and specs for the price
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendSo far the monitor is working just fine and I am happy with it. I was very disappointed in the support materials. All the warrantee and tech support inserts were in Spanish and the one-sheet assembly form with pictures was very confusing. What's the point of putting set up information on the enclosed disc when you don't have a monitor on which to see it? I still haven't figured out how to register the monitor for HP's warrantee coverage. This is the first time I've had a landscape monitor so I really like the definition of the images and videos. However, even though I've increased the size of the fonts - when I receive some HTML emails they are compressed (top to bottom) on the screen with lots of blank space on either side and the fonts are very small and hard to read - and there doesn't seem to be a way to enlarge them. I assume this is the same with any landscape screen and something I have to adjust to.

Great value, good quality and feature set
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis one of the nicest monitors I have ever seen for under $200, and it is closer to $100 than to $200! I really couldn't believe the features for this price. The IPS panel delivers the consistent color and wide viewing angles you expect. The contrast on this monitors seems quite linear, with no noticeable drop out near bright and dark ends of the spectrum. The advertised response time is very fast and I have seen no ghosting. It has DVI, VGA, and HDMI inputs, which is unusual for this price range. The menus are quite comprehensive, allowing for a lot of customization. The stand is stable. This monitor is very light and thin. Automatic input detection works well. It is easy to clean the display because of the bezel design. There are no corners to catch dust and dirt. Just be sure to use a clean, soft cloth for cleaning as it may be possible to scratch the anti-glare surface. The dot pitch is high enough (102dpi) that the grid between the pixels is not easily visible. Mine has no dead pixels. The only drawbacks I have see are: It's not a touchscreen (but a normal monitor like this combined with a Leap Motion sensor might be better anyway). It's not 3D-ready (not 120hz and no polarizer). The top edge of the screen feels a little cheap/loose. No DisplayPort input. Stand is not height adjustable (just forward/back angle). No VESA mount.

Monitor performed better than expected.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWanted to replace old CRT with new monitor without loosing color acuracy. I am using this monitor for professional photography and absolutly needed the color acuracy. I installed this monitor side by side with my old CRT monitor and after running the color adjustment programs, I could not tell the color difference between the two monitors. I have never seen a LCD monitor with this good of color acuracy. Off axis performance was also better than any LCD monitor I have experienced. It is also great to have the 1080p resolution when using Photoshop. I would recommend this monitor to anybody.

Great Monitor, Ultra Slim Profile
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI got this monitor to set up my laptop at home for when I do some gaming, and it displays incredibly! It is crisp and I get great colors, and without excessive brightness so I don't get eye strain when I game for a while. Also, this monitor is super compact and hardly takes up any room compared to my old monitor. Absolutely love it!

Love this monitor!!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis monitor is the perfect size for my family. It's light weight so it can be moved easily for cleaning under it, yet it's heavy enough, with a nice sized base, that it can't be tipped over. The cat hasn't even been able to and he used to sleep on top of the other one!! It can also be adjusted for different viewing angles.

Perfect size monitor for average size desk
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendNeeded to replace another LCD monitor purchased 5 yrs ago. Was able to move up to the larger size. Had my choice of lots of screen space at highest resolution; or use slightly lower resolution with bigger icons and font - much needed for my mother's desk. Colors and sharpness are great. Easy to connect and set up! Recommend highly, especially for the price!
