When on sale for $499, this HP TP01-0034 computer is an awesome deal for a desktop with an Intel i7 CPU. This computer is very fast out of the box. The included 8GB memory (Samsung, Model # M378A1K43DB2-CTD) and 256GB solid state drive (SK Hynix, model # HFM256GDJTNG-8310A) was not enough for my needs so I had to separately buy and install my own 2TB internal hard drive and 16GB memory. The upgrades were easy to install and worth it to add more file storage and memory to my new computer. I added the Western Digital 2TB Black internal hard drive (model # WD2003FZEX) and I added the Samsung 16GB memory (model # M378A2K43CB1-CTD). Now my new computer is lighting fast with the i7 CPU, 24GB memory, 256GB SSD and 2TB HDD. All of the Windows system files and installed program files are on the SSD and my data files are stored on the HDD. For me this computer was perfect for the price since I am not having to waste any hardware with what I needed to add (not replace) since it only has two slots for memory and one bay for an internal 3.5” hard drive. This computer does everything and more except high end gaming. You will have to replace the power supply if you want to add a more powerful graphics card if you want to make this a gaming computer. HP has 18 videos online on how to remove and add the internal components for the TP01-0034 computer @ https://supportvideos.ext.hp.com/detail/video/6074300588001/how-to-replace-the-front-bezel-for-hp-pavilion-desktop-tp01-000?q=TP01-000 Pros: 1) The HP TP01-0034 computer is a great deal when on sale for $499. 2) The Intel i7 CPU is very fast, has 6 cores and 12 threads for processing. (i7 CPU costs almost $400 by itself). 3) The solid state drive is fast. My computer cold boots onto my Windows logon screen in 12 seconds. 4) 8 USB type A ports and 1 USB type C port. 5) Very easy to add and install additional memory and an internal hard drive. 6) Very quite. You cannot hear the fans or hardware running on this computer. 7) Very cool running. This computer does not even get warm nor does it output warm air. 8) Silver case and design is very stylish and it is not as large as the older computers used to be. 9) Comes with 8 extra screws for installing an internal SATA hard drive and also includes an extra SATA power cable. Cons: 1) The CD/DVD drive is vertical, the disk drawer is flimsy and you have to snap the disk on/off the spindle. 2) The keyboard is way too small. The older HP keyboards were just the right size to comfortably use. 3) Only the 4 front USB ports are USB 3.1, the 4 rear USB ports are the slower USB 2.0. That makes no sense. 4) Integrated graphics 5) The power supply is only 180 watts. The pros clearly outweighed the cons for me. The HP TP01-0034 desktop is a great computer, especially for $499. Best Buy also had the HP 27f 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor (model # 2XN62AA#ABA) on sale for $109 and this computer easily displays 4K video in full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60Hz with this monitor. Together, the HP 2XN62AA#ABA monitor and HP TP01-0034 computer is an awesome combination for the price. I included some pictures of my HP TP01-0034 computer showing the back panel with all the rear ports, the inside of my computer after I installed my 2TB hard drive and after I installed my additional 16GB of memory. I hope that my review helps you.

Been a Mac user for 15+ years while editing thousands of images using Lightroom and Photoshop. I still use my 2017 MacBook Pro for travel editing but need a crazy fast desktop without paying an arm and a leg. This one fit the bill. I bought another 8GB of RAM for $30 and a fast 500GB Internal SSD for another $60 and it screams with the onboard 256GB M.2 drive. I have a 27in 4K monitor attached and the built in i7 630 graphics has no issue displaying full 4K. Caveat: this comes with a very small power supply - 180Watt. If you plan on making it a gaming rig, you’ll need to spend another $200 for an external ITX GPU and 300W+ power supply. I plan to do that in the near future so I can run dual 4K monitors and game on it. Am quite pleased with the deal I got and recommend this PC.

Customers are delighted by the Pavilion Desktop's speed and performance, largely attributed to its SSD drive. Many appreciate its ease of use, compact size, and quiet operation, finding it to be a great value for the price. However, some users express concern about the limitations of the power supply, suggesting potential upgrade challenges. The included memory was sufficient for some, while others felt it could have been more substantial.
