Issues With The Screen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop looks amazing BUT, I feel the build quality is not all there, particularly with the OLED panel. This is my second Specter x360 16 inch with the OLED screen. Both have the same issue where the left side of the screen is faded and the pixels struggle to display the same image quality as the right side. This is most notable when watching dimly lit video scenes or if you have a dark mode on for your apps. I'm curious if everyone else has the same issue. Also, my second Specter x360 16 inches came with a loose touchpad that rattled with the simplest touch. I had to open it and fix it. In my opinion, a $2,222.76 (Tax included) product should not have to be repaired. The screen is supposed to be the highlight of the device but sadly it is a big disappointment. The rating is either excellent, good, average, fair, or poor. As much as I like this laptop. The screen is a major issue that degrades the experience so I have to go with poor because a faulty screen is fair. I've included photos of the screen at the 4th brightness level and at the highest from let to right.

Dead pixel straight out of the box
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not willing to write a full review just received the laptop less than an hour ago. But going off the build quality I can at least give it 3 stars. But after booting it up it already has a dead pixel. dealing with Bestbuy customer service isn't a easy task lol especially trying to get a replacement item.

Not the best option especially for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay so I've had this laptop for about a week and it's fine but it's definitely not perfect. Pros- Build quality feels premium, keyboard feels really good. The trackpad feels fine, it almost feels like it's too responsive. Touch screen is also really good. When typing there's no screen wobble with my particular unit also I can't lift it up with one hand but that's not a big deal for me. The speakers are really good for a laptop in my opinion, really nice and out loud. There's really not that many fingerprints, you're only going to get fingerprints if you eat snacks and mess with your laptop or you just have sweaty hands. The 4K Oled screen is kind of a problem for me, I feel like it's too much color and too contrasty but that could just be my field of vision. Cons- The hinges are not perfectly aligned, one weird thing is I was able to push one of the hinges up stiffly with my thumb to somewhat make it align with the other, it's not lose it just wasn't perfectly align. The battery life goes away pretty quickly I went from 100% to 68% in a little under two and a half hours and I was just surfing the web and looking at a couple of YouTube videos. Also it takes a really long time to charge this thing up to 100% your going to be waiting hours to charge this thing up to 100%. All in all it's okay but I would not get the OLED option. I recommend the non OLED option.

Good product poor HP customer service
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it’s feel and sleek design. I’ve been using it since two years and performance wise it has met with my needs most of the time. I’m using it for coding, gaming and video watching and I didn’t have any problem. Only issue was its Camera stop working within the first year and HP wanted to repair it first. After the repair, the same camera issue persisted. It took customer service weeks to decide to give me a replacement and that was really frustrating and wasted my 6 weeks because I needed that camera during that time for interviews. HP troubleshooting and diagnosing team wasn’t that great. Remote customer service unfortunately wasn’t that helpful.

mix feeling!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.good specs on paper but the laptop is not a 2000$ worthy! it's not study and every time I hold it I hear a click sound in the back of the laptop. screen is beautiful but doesn't look like a 16 inch screen! tablet mode is not really usable because of the tall screen size. the laptop get heat easily because of the small chassis. battery life is not the best! generally its good for daily use because it will not survive a single fall on the floor!

Excellent build and performance
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll start by saying I got this "open box", so I paid substantially less than msrp. With that being said, I love it. I use it primarily for "Gamemaker Studio" programming and lighter gaming, so I haven't pushed it to it's limits, but i regularly have a second monitor hooked up, as well as several programs I'm switching between, and it doesn't slip up. The screen quality is beautiful, the touch and stylus perfectly responsive, and easy to adjust brightness very convenient. I also find all the little shortcuts they manage to squeeze into the keyboard intuitive and easy to use. Speakers are excellent for a laptop as well. If you can get a good deal on this, I couldn't recommend enough.

Q: QuestionWhat is the battery life (Hours)?
Asked by Pablo.
- A:Answer Don't believe HP's response. The OLED screen sucks the battery power. At 50% brightness you'll get about 4 hours of continuous use. That's the truth HP, so quit misleading potential customers!
Answered by Tfid
Q: QuestionIs there any news about the release date of this product? It keeps saying "coming soon" for awhile now.
Asked by Bob.
- A:Answer I just called Best Buy at the number that was provided from HP and the Best Buy rep told me that their system says "waiting on vender to ship". So we have HP saying call Best Buy and Best Buy saying call HP. I think I'll just go Lenovo or Dell at this point...

Q: QuestionIs this the OLED model? Previous answers indicate yes, but the specs list the screen at 3072 x 1920, which is the IPS resolution. OLED is 3840 x 2400.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Thank you for your question. This has OLED, UHD+ resolution at 3840 x 2400 pixels.

Q: QuestionWhat is the TDP of the RTX 3050? There are versions ranging from 35W to 80W and it makes a big difference for performance.
Asked by Nikolai.
- A:Answer This (x360 16" w/ 3050) has a power limit of 40W on the GPU and 35W for the CPU. The Nvidia control panel info shows this is a MaxQ enabled device, 40W power limit, Advanced Optimus - NO. There's no 'mux switch' to turn off the iGPU. Also it doesn't support Gsync for external monitors using displayport via the USBC port.

Q: QuestionThe ad copy banner at the top of the listing says 32GB for memory, but below in the specifications it shows 16GB? Do we know which is correct?
Asked by TW47.
- A:Answer Yes-they both are, because they reference two different things. The amount of RAM in the computer is 16 gigabytes. The 32 gigabytes is the Optane cache on the motherboard. Because instructions that were recently used by programs are likely to be used again, the system puts a copy of those instructions into the cache. That can be accessed much faster than going back to the SSD to get them again, so it improves the overall computer speeds.

Q: QuestionIs this SSD TLC storage? The HP order page shows: "1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD". However the 512GB and 2TB versions don't say TLC.
Asked by Nikolai.
- A:Answer FOLLOW-UP #1: According to the HP website - the 512GB storage option is ALSO a "TLC" Solid State Drive (SSD) "HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 16-f0007TX Product Specifications" https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07901756#AbT0 ~
