Breath taking AMOLED 4K screen! X360 fun!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:DisplayI am a computer support professional. As a result, I tend to have "one of everything" so I can support my users and continue my support training. So it was time to have a 4K screen. I have had my eye on this baby since Christmas and with the pandemic lock downs, decided it was time. It is truly cutting edge technology with 10th gen chipsets, and the gorgeous 4K, AMOLED, Gorilla Glass screen. i only buy core i5 processors, as for me...that is enough. The system is extremely responsive and runs Office 365 very well. Battery life seems as advertised - 13 hours! Even streaming 4K video! (Not tested, but never hurting for power.) Keyboard is easy to get used to and the keys give a nice tactile feedback and audible muffled "click". I like that. And I would not own a laptop without backlit keys! YouTube streams 4K content without a hiccup and again shames my LG 4K LCD tv. (Non-AMOLED.) The Pencil is fun and flipping the screen over turns the device effectively into an iPad! Drawbacks - this machine can handle simple or older games, or games set to minimum requirements. The BIOS has the video memory locked to 128GB. At the very reputable site "Can I Run It" - https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri-score, this machine can only run 19 of the current top 100 games. But there is a huge list of games it can play at minimum settings. I am not affiliated with HP in any way and work for a medical database company. I simply have fallen in love with this laptop!

Great laptop for students!

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros mentioned:School useI was looking for a 2 in 1 laptop that can help me with note taking as well as for studying. This laptop is very compact and it has some great features. I don't think any other laptop has a hardware camera switch. You can shut the power to camera using this switch, especially if you are concerned about your privacy. The only disappointment is that the note taking is not as friendly in this laptop. I guess it is because of the limitations on the Hp pen you get it with package. You will have to write with the pen perpendicular to the screen. Overall a very compact and powerful laptop.

The screen is magnificent
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:DisplayWe bought this laptop after loving our first Spectre. The screen quality on this model did not disappoint. Vivid colors and crisp. We don't love that it only has 8GB of memory, but we don't plan on pushing this laptop to its limits. It'll be mostly used for school, which used to mean browsing the web and online discussion boards, but now includes a lot of zoom meetings. And after trying the webcam, it's got great quality. It's a solid piece of equipment all around.

Solid tech in small package
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros; There is a lot going on under the hood but the SSD makes load up quick, the 4K screen is great to work on, and it has just enough GPU to run top games like Apex and Call of Duty. It converts to tablet mode very easily. The keyboard has enough give to be tactile friendly. Cons: It runs a little hot, but the fan is pretty quiet. The pen that comes with is not very good; may need to upgrade to the Tilt. It doesn’t have much storage, so cloud storage or externals may be needed. As a power user I personally would have liked the 16g RAM option but I got this on sale and it works well enough and will be great for the average user.

Great for Power BI
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I went into the store wanting to look at the Lenovo Yoga 9 Series and the Dell XPS laptops, but ended up falling in love with this one here. I had not even considered an HP as I've never used one before, and was coming from a MacBook Pro. I needed a new laptop that would be able to run Power BI program, and this one handles is like a pro. The OLED screen is absolutely stunning, and blows my MacBook Pro out of the water. One complaint is that the fan does kick on a lot, but that's probably because I like having my OLED on full brightness.
